I love this show, but if it turns into another ATHF (you know, take out the stuff that made the show good) then I'll be very unhappy.  The mythology made the show interesting, better than some of the tripe we have to put up with (Delocated, Children's hospital).  If Small takes out all the tribuneral stuff and ignores the conflict with them and turn it into the Dethklok half hour, and nothing else, then I'm out...and the door *can* hit me in the ass on the way out.  <g>

I've noticed that the Tribunal tends to act near the end of the season/finale, so there's still time. 

Although I've enjoyed the episodes this season without the Tribunal, I also want to know what's going on with the mythology of the band.  The mythology is fascinating and it would be a waste to ignore it.  That said, I seriously doubt that Brendon would bail on the concept since it helped to draw in so many viewers.  We'll just have to wait and see.

Not going to be repeated for a few weeks.  BUT!

Fertilityklok is up in the Video section now.  (Video/on-line premieres are a week after the broadcast premiere).  Which means Dethsiduals will be on-line next Monday.  So if you can see them there, you haven't missed them.

As per the Big Schedule, after the 3rd season finale on Oct. 24th, AS will rerun the 3rd season starting on Halloween, aka Oct. 31st.  Probably run through the whole season at least once more.

Yep, Fertilityklok and Dethsiduals are the two that have aired so far, with Fertilityklok up in the Video section now.  Dethsiduals will be up this coming Monday.

Rehabklok is this Sunday and Dethzazz on the 17th.   Season finale on the 24th.

Speaking of Fertilityklok, that was not listed in the DVD, whereas Juryklok was.....what is/was Juryklok? Cuz I do not remember a jury in any form in Fertilityklok.

Have no idea. The closest thing to a jury was in Dethsiduals, but that was part of the line-up on the DVD listing!

i recently purchased the season pass for season 3 on itunes (which is pretty awesome b/c i can watch the episodes from this season on my phone).  i have a question regarding the third ep.--"dethhealth"--specifically, the dentist scene where nathan, contemplating whether or not to go under anesthesia, is visited by miniature versions of murderface & pickles in the vein of the classic shoulder angel/shoulder devil motif. 

now, i've seen "dethhealth" a few times on tv (the premiere last fall & a couple of the reruns), & every time i could hear murderface ("no gas!  no gas!") but not pickles.  his mouth was moving, but no sound was coming out, so i never knew what he was saying.  did anyone else have this problem?  i'm asking b/c when i viewed the ep. that i downloaded from my itunes season pass i noticed that pickles was now audible; i watched it on my computer & my phone, and both times, i could hear pickles loud & clear ("take the gas!  take the gas!").  i'm wondering if this auditory discrepancy happened to others, b/c if not, then there might be something wrong w/ my tv.

Actually, something like that did happen to me, Jchoi.  I had DVR'd Skwisklok and the end where he was screaming because of the crystals were stuck on his hands, I didn't actually hear the scream.  It's like the voice was muted.  The only way I knew it was because the closed captioning showed it.  I was thinking WFT? 

It was a tube TV, and I've since replaced it because it was about 5 years old.   Sad, but anything over 3 years is considered old for electronics.   But I've watched the ep since then and I heard everything.  So it might be your TV. 

Keep in mind, I'm not a techno genius, that's just what happened to me.

It very well could be you have only one audio channel instead of 2. I had that when I was camping, so I only heard half of the soloing in the intro during the first season. If you're connected via coaxial cable, your audio SHOULD be fine, but if you're using red/white/yellow cables, then one of them either isn't plugged in all the way, or one of them simply can't be hooked up because you lack the connection for it....I had that for the TV we used for Direct Tv...I was missing the red cable thingy on my TV, so we never connected it...same thing for my N64, Ps2, and Gamecube.

i'm using a basic rca connector (w/ the red/white/yellow hook-ups); i just checked & everything's securely plugged in.  it might be that my 8-year-old tv is finally crapping out on me.

so here we are at the end of season 3.  now, i'm aware that this is extremely premature, especially since we still have the last episode to go, but i was just wondering if there's any info. floating around out there regarding future seasons.  like the possible existence of such endeavors and future theoretical dates as to when they might occur?   i feel like there's too much unresolved subject matter (in regards to the series as a whole) to not have anymore seasons.  granted, i have no idea how this season will end b/c i haven't seen the finale yet; nevertheless, i find it highly unlikely that everything could get wrapped up in a mere 30 minutes.  not that i think there won't be anymore seasons!  i mean, i can't think of any reasons why there wouldn't be; it's just that you never know, and i didn't want to make any assumptions.  i know brenden currently has a lot on his plate w/ the making of his own album, and i was wondering  if he's planning to put metalocalypse on hold until after he finishes his own stuff (releasing/promoting the album, perhaps going on tour, ect.).  

again, totally aware that it's waaay too early to ask about future (theoretical) seasons of metalocalypse.  it's just that it's become my favorite show over the past year so i'm extra curious to see how long the wait will be if there is a season 4.  figured i'd take a shot in the dark and ask.

There has been nothing official yet.  But my guess would be that they start work the end of this year/beginning of next.  Probably not see season 4 until late 2011 about this time of year.

I know we probably won't hear anything for a looong time, but I hope we hear at least a confirmation on a Dethalbum III.

When Ravenwood says it in "It has begun" it sounds like "SELL-ese-ie-a" to me. I can't really think of any other places they said it out loud... Can anyone help with a better/accurate pronunciation?

I think it's pronounced Sa-lay-se-a.  Seeing as Jon has said and the comic book backs it up, the spelling is Salacia.

The only one Brendon or Tommy has said is based on anyone is Nathan is based mostly on George from Cannibal Corpse.  That is all.  They have pulled bits from different people to base the band one.  So one person is as good as another.

Tho' Pickles' design has gone through a few styles.  At least one was changed because he looked too much like a real musician.
