I finished this piece last, which is titled "Thunderhorse Remix". It is the first attempt at any sort of Dethklok fan art. It's not the best, but heck it's better than the way my horses and people turned out before.

Hi there. This is my first post. I'm a lurker not a poster. I'm also an xbox 360 modder.

I came up with the idea for this project a few months ago and started working on it immediately even though I had no idea what direction I was going. I kept changing my mind about how I wanted it to look. Because of this I think it turned out crappy, and I intend to start over completely (I didn't even complete this one). 

But still.  I thought you guys may be intersted in seeing the prototype regardless.  

I don't currently own a camera, so please do your best enjoy these crappy phone pics.

Lessons I've already learned and will apply to Dethbox V2:

1- less lights is probably better for such a large window. I didn't bother wiring them nicely because I decided I hated how this came out before I started lights. I threw them in there for the sake of these pics.

2- I should have airbrushed this. Why didn't I airbrush this? IDK why I thought hand painting this with acrylics was a good idea.

Not bad for all that. 

But a suggestion on photographing etchings- if you can, slip something dark behind it- a dark piece of paper, cloth, etc- when doing a close-up photo.  It's about the only way to do it unless you got special lighting.

Hey, this is a Dethklok fanart piece I did, the premise being that Dethklok decided they needed to 'branch out' to other genres....

So they become a country band. A BRUTAL country band.

But they don't really get country music, so it ends up sounding more like a death metal band's rendition on tractors and pickup trucks.
