From Metal Injection!
Wowowowowowow! In a late Friday awesome news break, both Lambgoat and ThePRP are reporting that Lamb of God have cemented their summer touring plans with two killer bands opening: the mighty Dethklok and muthafuckin' Gojira. This is an A++WDBA bill with every band bringing something bone-crushing to the table. This tour is absolutely unmissable. F#ck, I would go if it was JUST Gojira and Lamb of God, or just Lamb of God and Dethklok, or even Dethklok and Gojira… BUT ALL THREE?!? Sign me up. Here is the full routing:
08/01 Seattle, WA – WaMu Thater
08/02 Vancouver, BC – Queen Elizabeth Theater

08/05 Edmonton, AB – Shaw Conference Centre

08/09 Milwaukee, WI – Eagles Ballroom
08/10 Columbus, OH – LC Pavilion
08/11 Toronto, ON – Heavy TO

08/14 Grand Rapids, MI – Delta Plex
08/15 St. Louis, MO – Family Arena08/17 Council Bluffs, IA- Knot Fest
08/18 Minneapolis, MN- Knot Fest
08/19 Kansas City, MO – Midland Theater
08/21 Chicago, IL – Congress Ballroom
08/22 Detroit, MI – Compuware Arena
08/23 Pittsburgh, PA – Stage AE
08/24 Charlotte, NC – Time Warner Cable Uptown Amphitheater
08/25 Norfolk, VA – Constant Convocation Center
08/26 Baltimore, MD – Pier 6 Pavilion
08/29 New York, NY – Roseland Ballroom
08/30 Lowell, MA – Tsongas Arena
08/31 Wallingford, CT – Toyota Presents Oakdale Theater

09/02 Asbury Park, NJ – Asbury Park Convention Hall
09/04 Orlando, FL – Hard Rock Live
09/05 Atlanta, GA – Tabernacle
09/07 Houston, TX – Bayou Music Center
09/08 San Antonio, TX – Sunken Garden
09/09 Dallas, TX – Verizon Wireless Theater
09/11 Denver, CO – The Fillmore
09/13 Phoenix, AZ – Comerica Theater
09/14 Los Angeles, CA – Gibson Amphitheater ?????
09/15 San Francisco, CA – Bill Graham Civic ?????
Besides the two Canadian metal fest dates, Ticketmaster/Live Nation have the one for Denver, CO up. The price there is $52 (ticket of $32 something plus fees). They may go on sale May 18th, but I don't have a confirmed date for that.
UPDATE- Added the two Knot Fest dates. Also, the last two dates of Los Angeles & San Francisco are not on the Events list here on AS. (Click Events top of the page to the far right). Don't know if that is a change or the dates are still on.

I also noticed there are a few dates that have a longish break between them:
08/15 St. Louis, MO – Family Arena
*** 4 day break
08/19 Kansas City, MO – Midland Theater
08/26 Baltimore, MD – Pier 6 Pavilion
*** 3 day break
08/29 New York, NY – Roseland Ballroom
Now,, while I do not know MO, it can't be that long a trip between St. Louis and Kansas City.
And I do know the NYC Baltimore area. I'm a science fiction fan and been to Balticon a few times driving down from Brooklyn with friends. So I know it's only about a 4-5 hour drive.
Now, last tour in 2009, the NYC show sold out so they added another show the day before that- original show was Oct. 30th, added the 29th. So it's mostly they are doing the breaks so they can add shows if needed. Unless they have something else planned.

P.S.: How is Holkie able to get away typing the F-word WITHOUT Adult Swim censoring it?????
CFO: The guitar riff sound effect...broke. Knubbler's fixing it at the recording room.
KNUBBLER: Shake it off....c'mon...shake it off!

LOL! Well, a few things:
1) I'm a HELPeR. I know I have some extra permissions, like posting pics for the wiki and other things. So maybe some filters don't apply to HELPeRs.
2) Some words come and go in the filter
3) That part of the post is part of the copy-pasta I did from the site with the tour info. So I didn't write it. Never noticed that otherwised censored words come through uncensored when copypasta-ed. Will edited so no one gets in trouble.

Not yet. These aren't even confirmed dates yet. We should know for sure this week with sale dates and prices.
So far, the only dates on sale are the two Canadian fest dates.

Well in fairness, the guys are human and need some rest time.
Also, remember that most of them are artists with other commitments that may need to be worked around. So an extra day off here or there may also be a day of studio recording or personal appearances.

Password for some Canadian dates is available via the promoter's FB events pages - it's "wallofmetal" but may vary by venue/promo company.

I clicked through a few of the US dates on Ticketmaster.
NY: Live Nation Presale
Start: Wed, 05/16/12 10:00 AM EDT
End: Thu, 05/17/12 10:00 PM EDT
Fan Presale
Start: Sat, 05/12/12 10:00 AM EDT
End: Sat, 05/12/12 10:00 PM EDT
No idea what the fan presale was, since the dates were embargoed until Sunday.
Pittsburgh: PromoWest Presale
Start: Wed, 05/16/12 10:00 AM EDT
End: Thu, 05/17/12 10:00 PM EDT
Orlando: Hard Rock/WJRR Presale
Start: Thu, 05/17/12 10:00 AM EDT
End: Thu, 05/17/12 10:00 PM EDT
So upshot: Go to ticketmaster.com, find your venue, click on "Onsale Dates and Times" in the upper right and see who's offering the presale when.

Check the date on the "fan pre-sale" again. That was last Sunday. Still haven't seen a pre-sale password anywhere.
But someone on eBay is selling the password for a few dates. Supposedly a different one for each date.

I just copied and pasted what was on the Ticketmaster site. ::shrug::
If you're planning on going to a LiveNation show, I'd download the LiveNation mobile app, too:
Live Nation Mobile App Presale
Download the Live Nation iPhone App now to access Live Nation Mobile App Presales.
Browse, search, and discover concerts for your favorite artists near you; get alerts on presales, onsales, and last minute tickets; and easily and quickly purchase tickets while in the app. Check out set lists on the go, check in with your friends, view your ticket info, seating charts, exclusive photos, videos and more/
