This thread is to name all the references to Metal bands and songs in Metalocalypse.
I remember this ones.
The Curse of Dethklok: Nathan mentions the songs "Every Bone Broken,” "Rotted Body Landslide,” and "Hammer Smashed Face" by Cannibal Corpse.
Klokblocked: The restaurant the band goes to is called Mastodon.
The Revengencers: The hospital is called Necrophagist Hospital
Dethcarraldo: Pickles mentions that the story about Nathan's grandma is like a Cannibal Corpse song.
Thats all I remember now. Can you list more?

it make for a great album cover (talking about the dethcooks previous deaths)
Ironically It is a direct refernce to a death metal band ( either mayhem or emporer) who committed suicide and the previous band mates did attempt to use a picture of his head blown out for a the album cover...
( I love music, I love rock and roll history) I love the fact brandon found a way to tie it in with Dethklok ( Mash potatoes johnson , is a direct spoof of blues legnd "Robert Johnson" The first man in legend to sell his soul to the devil for blues fame)

Yeah, Burzum definitely appeared somewhere. Also, a couple more I remembered(though not necessarily metal):
Happy Dethday; When they show Murderface his true gift, Toki says "Big fat tires and everything!" a line from Deep Purple's song "Highway Star"
Snakes n' Barrels; The bands name is an obvious parody of Guns n' Roses

King Diamond is The devil in the mash potatoes Johnson episode,
The comedic instructor is James hetfield ( I think he is also the cook)
The Dutch queen is Kirk Hammett
Other then those characters i know they have done other voices , I keep wondering if any of them helped with some of the music writing, or rather, some of the leads could have been Hammett influenced
The chord configurations and solo techniques used in "Go Into The Water" sound very Brian May-ish ( the lead guitarist of Queen)
At first I though james hetfield may have done the pickles vocal for "hatred Coptor" but no...Its all Brendon Small
when i see all the guest names i will go re watch looking for the character voice...some times Im dead on and then there are the other episodes in which I have no clue who they did

You mean the sewn back together wrong chef? No, he's voiced by Mark Hamill.
