in the PR episode, Pickles gives an interview in front of a theater showing "Rise of the Tyrant", off of Arch Enemy's album.

I knew it had to be an arch enemy reference, I just didn't know it was the name of an album....

This song by Dimmu Borgir (which is a precursor into this song) is performed by the Gothenburg Opera Orchestra.

I'm not sure if this has been pointed out, but it does sound similar to the philharmonic performance from Fatklok.

Then again, a few bands have worked with orchestras in the past, so maybe it's just a general reference.

Maybe it is, I just thought that since they had specifically cited the London Philharmonic that it was a Queen reference - also because Brendon's myspace advises one of his heroes is Brian May.

My first post and i thought id throw one out that i dont think anyone caught, i looked thru the thread and didnt see it but its pretty early i mighta missed.   Nathans high school is Carpathian Forest High, Carpathian Forest is a Black Metal band from Norway. Im not a big fan, im more of a death and thrash head.

Carpathian Forest High was the school he went to take the test for his GED.  Not the school he attented.
