I've noticed this since the Mordland episode.

"Aww! Blood puke! Good song title, someone write that - oh, that's right we already wrote that. Good song though!"

Being a fan of Bloodbath, I immediately thought of "Ominous Bloodvomit".

In Deadwedding, the song they played was called "Life Sentence". The song, and especially the video reminded me of Death's "Together as One".

And in The Revengencers, both the song played for the hospitalized Hill goers and a Death song are called "Pull the Plug".

Pretty sure this means Brendon and Tommy aren't only paying homage to bands in last names and eateries...

Did anyone else catch this?

as soon as i heard them playing pull the plug, i immediately thot of Death's pull the plug. mabey Gene Hoglan wanted some Death to stay in his legacy or sumthin lol

but yeah gene was in death and when chuck schuldiner died, the band did 1 album wit out chuck (so i hear) and then gene joined dethklok (idk if thats how it went down, all i know is chuck died and gene joined dethklok)

So I'm moving this one into that.

Gene played in Death from 93-95, appearing on the albums Individual Thought Patterns and Symbolic...and I think the album that was released after Chuck's death was a live album....

Also, don't forget about Chuck's side project, Control Denied...which probably will never have it's second album released.

But back on topic: Behemoth Productions (dunno if it got mentioned yet); Fatty is a reference to now deceased guitarist of Voivod, Denis "Piggy" D'Amour (they look almost exactly alike) - If I'm wrong on that, somebody call me out on it. I'm gonna try to find my evidence again later.

wow u guys caught the slayer referance u actually know one good band, ne ways "gwar" is refrenced in the episode where toki becomes a bad guy and he walks around in a shirt with spiked shoulderpads and blood all over him burning stuff with a flame thrower
