Metalocalypse

This is about the adventures and misadventures of the death metal band Dethklok.

The band is Nathan Explosion- lead singer

Skwisgaar Skwisgelf- lead guitar

Toki Wartooth- rhythm guitar

William Murderface- bass

Pickles- drums

Dethklok is the biggest band in the world.  They are so big and powerful that they are 7th largest economy in the world.  Their lawyer/manager, Charles Foster Offdensen, has negotiated with the UN the right to go after people who illegally download Dethklok's music and to have their own army, the Kloketeers, to protect Dethklok.

Dethklok lives in Mordland at the Viking ship shaped Mordhaus.  Mordhaus has it's own recording studios, hospital, scientific research labs, and dungeons to imprison those who try to download/scam/harm Dethklok.

Anything Dethklok does is brutal and metal.

Trivia

* All the characters were fully designed and developed when production started except for Pickles,

who went through about 20 or more designs before the current design was chosen.

*Brendon and Tommy are both metal music fans.  They became friends because they were the only two who 

would go to metal shows from the Los Angeles stand-up comedy community

*Metalocalypse was originally Deathclock Metalocalypse.  But they found that Deathclock was already 

copyrighted, so the band became Dethklok and show's name shorten to Metalocalypse.

*Brendon and Tommy were pitching different shows around Hollywood and to Adult Swim. One day, they

were talking to Jackson Publick of the Venture Brothers about the problem with finding the right 

show to pitch.  He suggested that they do a show based on metal music.  

And Dethklok and Metalocalypse was sparked.

based on a real singer, George "Corpsegrinder" Fisher of Cannibal Corpse,

who has done voices on the show

*Most crude member of Dethklok

*Won't eat hot dogs, sausages, or similar shaped food

*Can play his bass with his member

*Only member with a tattoo- has two,

*Joined Snakes N' Barrels as their lead guitarist & singer

*First instrument was a Les Paul Gold Top

*Had kiddy glaucoma & smoked government weed

*This made him immune to most drugs

*Heavy drinker

*Has asthma

*Endorses Pickles' Nickles

*Like to wander around in his BVDs

*Shortest member of Dethklok

*Red hair in dreads, green eyes, goatee, very Irish American

Charles Foster Offdensen

Manager/Lawyer/Agent

*Fenced in College

*Appears to be able to fence left or right handed

*Loves pie, cigars, and good brandy

*Very formal and straitlaced to the point the band calls him "robot"

*Seems to have no problem with the violence surrounding Dethklok

*Has ordered Rockzo to "have the boots put to him, medium style"

as well as tortured

*As well as lead the Jonfru brothers to their death/imprisonment

*Took on the much larger metal-masked assassin, breaking his arm and stabbing him with his own knife

*Seems to have had military training at some point as he organized Dethklok's defense

*Has supreme patience with the boys

*Would have to kill him to get him away from Dehtklok

*Wears trademark red tie

(would explain Skwisgaar's behavior toward Toki a lot)

Jean-Pierre

Chef

*Jean-Pierre is the latest in a long line of chefs for Dethkok

*All prior chefs have died horribly, causing Dethklok to believe all their chefs are cursed

*Jean-Pierre has the logo of a lobster in a pentagram on his chef's jacket

*Jean-Pierre was blown to pieces at the first Dunkin Hills Coffee concert

*His fate, being sown back together wrong, gave Nathan the inspiration for a song

*Jean-Pierre is one of only three Dethklok employees, besides Charles Offdensen and an unnamed doctor,

to not wear the black hood of a Kloketeer

The Kloketeers

Richard "Magic Ears" Knubbler

Record Producer

*Producer hired by Dethklok's record company to help with the Dethwater album

*Because of his criminal record- drugs, sexual harassment, etc- Knubbler is recruited by the Tribunal to spy on Dethklok

*However, this backfires when Knubbler is blown away by the brutality of Dethklok's music

*Becomes Dethklok's producer (unsure if he is paid by the record company or Dethklok directly)

*Also becomes Murderface's producer for Planet P!ss

*Has robotic eyes
