I already gat this up on th' dethklok.org site, on my myspace blog an' Hokie here has also put it out t'a few other places (brutal thanks fer that, Holkie). But I wanted t'put th' entire official entry infermation up here since it wasn't put up in th' original post. That an' th' title wasn't too eye catchin'.

Gosh Pickles, what do ya need fer th' DethKalendar?
I'm gettin enough people askin' what we're lookin fer on th' DethKalendar, so here ya go in detail:
1. we're gonna do an 18 month or 24 month calendar jest fer th' hell of it. Why nat, ya know? An' so we want YOU t'do th' artwerk for it.
2. Pick a month or two that ya wanna draw fer. Make yer submissions themed or whatever, but they gatta have semthin' t'do with us boys, Dethklok on stage, Mordhaus, Mordland, etc.
Fer example: maybe ya do a pic of all of us gettin way too many valentines cards in th' mail fer Feburary. Maybe ya draw Nathan destroyin semthin' fer July. Ya know how he is with those explosions.
pun? heh. I dunno.
What about October? Im havin' a feelin we're gonna get more craip in fer that month than any of th' others an' thats where we're gonna have prablems faindin' a winner, so we jus' may put smaller versions on th' outskirts of the month box, or put sem honorable mentions in th' back of th' calendar. Aint decided yet. Gatta see what we get in t'werk with after all. we may only get in two submissions an' heh, yer gonna have a freakin 2 month calander; prally October 09 an' December 09 an' maybe Oct 10
hell, those are th' best months anyway. Even though WE hate Christmas, but anyway....
however..... every month where Dethklok is concerned is werse than any terrors October could pull out her arse, so... but NO, keep it themed to th' month, or th' season, an' so on. Dont know what th' hell t'draw fer those lame months March, May, June, August, September an' so on? Well, ideas: it's flippen HOT out durin' any of those months dependin' on where yer at in th' werld. Semthin' is goin' on here or there in th' werld durin' those times. Hey!!!! Use yer imaginations!!!!!
3. Up t' two submissions per person here. I know sem of ya would kill t'design th' entire calendar but that aint very fair, is it? So one or two. No more, no less.
Gatta be HAND drawings. If ya know how t'use Photoshop, Illustrator an' th' like, great. But it's gatta be creations frem yer own pen/brush, or vectors an' so on. Nethin' taken frem any Metalocalypse site or screen shats an' so on. MAYBE we'll let backgrounds slide, but that's it. NO pre-created pics of me or any of th' other guys. Those belong t'Jon Schnepp an' so on. We wanna see what YER love fer us kin create, see?
If ya gat stick figure capabilities, so what? I've seen sem stuff on Deviant Art done with stick figures that are pretty feckin (hate t'use th' werd but screw it) adorable, so have at it. An' if ya DO send semthin' in an' it's already ON deviant art, ya better prove beyond a shadow of a doubt that it's YER account, cuz if ya go rippin off semone elses hard werk, well, we dont take too light to that kainda stuff.
We'll seriously look at beginning artists to 'Pickles, I aint never drawn nethin' in my LIIIIIFE! Even my circles look like oblongs with spikes stickin outta it', to th' most supurb artists out there.
..... spikes are pretty metal, so there ya go.
Send em in, folks. Don' pay attention to yer little inner voice goin' "I have no talent".
can ya make an X an' put a O above it an' draw eyes and semthing similar to me an' nathans an' skwisgaar an' toki's hair? Kin ya add sem humor or brutality or semthin? If so, dont hold back!!!!!
we aint lookin' fer JUST those with MBA's in graphic arts, after all.

Fer those of ya fan girls that LOVE th' boys inna pairing kainda way, mayyyyyyyyyyyyyybe we'll do a side calendar fer you all t'drool over. But we aint incorporating that into th' main calendar. So if ya wanna submit yer fantacies of Toki an' Skwis kissin fer Valentines day or whatever, go right ahead.
If anyone puts me with Knubbler, I'll come to yer home an' reallly hurt ya. Jus' sayin'. but yeah, we unnerstand how fangirls are. I've seen enuf of it on Deviant Art. We don' wanna curb yer fun so go on ahead. LIke I said, it will jus' be on a different calendar an' those of ya who are into that kainda pairings kin write us an' let us know you'd like one of THOSE calenders.
