I'd say it's still officially 3.5.

Because the last episode, while okay, was not worthy of being a Metalocalypse season finale at all. It none of the epic vibes of the finales of Seasons 1 and 2, and it would be a disgrace to call it the season 3 finale. Especially after Season 2 raised the bar so much.

EDIT:

Given that the Season 3 DVD will feature all 10 episodes, this confirms that the bump that has been airing this week is just a typo, nothing more.

ya know If I was like, a CRAZY huge fan of this show, I'd be really disappointed at how they have run the airing of this show.

Like, I feel sorry for y'all, but I'm patient and I'll see the newer episodes down the line, and maybe buy the dvd if I see it at a cheap price.

I'm lucky my favorite shows are so hated and cult, cuz most their DVD's are 15 bucks and the seasons get pumped out!

Season 3 resumes in August, so there will be 10 episodes that will appear on the dvd.  They did five episodes then took a break, finished them recently, and now we'll get the rest.

No, it's not season 4.  It's still season 3.5.  We have not heard that they split the season in two.  AS is wrong on that.

I've got a question in to Jon Schnepp on that.  Haven't heard back yet.
