I've been talking about this in a few threads and wanted to make my own about it. Forgive me if it has already been made.

Dethklok fans, post your own theories and ideas as to why Dethklok is being kept alive- even saved- by the head chairman of the Tribunal.

We know for a fact that he has supernatural powers, as we see in the finale of season 1. He can so far control peoples' bodies, and even vanish into thin air.

Why?

For future reference, here is a list of some members of the Tribunal:

Senator Stampingston

Senator Stampingston is the main speaker who reports on Dethklok's current activities. Although his name is never revealed during the show, it can be found on online profiles. He doesn't seem to have a seat, instead standing in front of the television sets.

Cardinal Ravenwood

Cardinal Ravenwood is an elderly priest who has a religious and prophetic perspective on the issues regarding Dethklok. He has dreams in which Selatcia speaks to him in an unknown language and interprets this as a sign that he would die. This prediction seems to come true in the first season finale, when Selatcia telekinetically explodes his eyes and rips out his intestines. Though this would be fatal in reality, characters on the show have survived even more severe injuries, usually in severely disfigured form. Before this interruption, he is seen glowing while reciting the Lord's Prayer in Latin.

General Crozier

Sitting at the far left of the Tribunal. Mr. Selatcia has stated that his job within the Tribunal is gathering information and nothing more, although Crozier is not happy with this. He brings a military viewpoint to the tribunal's dealings with Dethklok, and usually recommends military action, often in the form of assassination. Cardinal Ravenwood and General Crozier have created an alliance against Selatcia. Selatcia disfigures Ravenwood, but keeps Crozier alive because "he is needed".

Mr. Selatcia

Mr. Selatcia is the elder member of the Tribunal who sits in a throne in the center, is usually the last to speak, and always has the final word on what course of action the group will take. Strangely, he often tells the Tribunal to not take action against Dethklok. General Crozier describes Selatcia's background as "murky." Selatcia apparently has either supernatural or telekinetic powers, which he displays in the first season finale- he explodes the heads of five soldiers, blinds Cardinal Ravenwood's eyes, makes Cardinal Ravenwood vomit his own intestines, puts Crozier to sleep, and then vanishes into fog.

There you have it.

I think it's because Dethklok still has power to gain.  They won't be full power until a certain point in time.  Then Seletcia will try to take it from them and stop whatever they are suppose to do.

that's what i was thinking,also i was wondering as to what he is. i really doubt that he's human

I have to agree with you on that, I don't think he's human ether, if you watched one of the easter eggs with him on it he looks odd....^^;

As Cardinal Ravenwood  said at the end of the first season: "the metalocalypse has begun" so I guess Dethklok will gain  more and more power in this season.

That is what I said.  Only Dethklok can gain the power up to the Metalocalypse.  Then it can be stolen.

I'm almost 100% sure Selatia isn't human, especially after seeing the DVD extra where hes got dinosaur skulls for pauldrons. For the first season and currently the second season up to this point he seems content to just watch their progress, however he does say he needs Crozier, so obviously he doesn't intend to forever. Don't forget the the Bloodtrocuted video either, thats probably the first place we actually see Selatia voluntarily use the military resources he has. I'm curious about whether or not the stuff we see in Bloodtrocuted actually come from an episode or was really just for the video.

I believe he wants the Metalocalypse to happen. I'm not sure he really wants more power he all ready seems to be the most powerful person in the world so maybe he's just waiting for it to all unfold and then see how humanity evolves. 

Crozier may be needed to throw the world back into normalcy if he doesn't like the results of the Metalocalypse. 

For lack of a better term he is the God of the series and we may only know his true motives when the show ends.

OMFG, I thought of that, too, because I don't think I've heard Charles even talk about his family! OR, maybe Charles is a mole for the Tribunal! I mean, what do we REALLY know about CFO? One, he let Dr. Rockso go with secret Dethklok info. Two, he almost killed 216's brother without breaking a sweating OR changing his expression. And three, I don't think I've ever seen this guy smile. Could CFO and Mr. Selatcia be either related OR just working together to destroy not only Dethklok but the Tribunal as well? This is getting weird!

Woah, different direction with CFO being evil...Never thought of that, but then again.....he has saved Dethklok's azz many a time, so I almost doubt it...but then that would be the perfect cover up...

True, BUT, he could he saving them to serve them up to the Tribunal OR to Mr. Selatcia later on.  I'm still trying to figure out where the Revengers will fit in all this.  I have a GOOD guess who they are (Creepy brother, download kid and the assassin of season 1 finale), but will they be their saviors or destroyers after everything Dethklok's does to them?  Also, will they get back at CFO, the man behind their misfortunes?

Good point.....I didn't see "Dethvengence" but I assume in the episode (correct me if I am wrong) that The Assassin the tribunal hires had to at least want the CFO's blood for what happened to him. I mean, you oblivously take out The Manager and Dethlok is open for the kill. Right?

But it makes sense if Charles did seem to know about The Tribunal way more than he should if his family had past links to them.

Yeah, that also could be true because in one of the DVD easter eggs, Selatcia was in this weird-@$$ battle gear and i think that the faces of Dethklok were shown in stone talimans.

He seemed to be protecting dethklok from death in pr-klok.

in fact, when the metal dethklok thing hits the meteor you can see his face and hear him saying something backwards.
