Please realize that not releasing Moral Orel in it's entirety on DVD is only promoting piracy of this fine series. Which is just a travesty, there is no legal way I can show my friends this brilliant show since you stopped airing it and are not releasing it on DVD. I want to give you money for this, but you're not letting me. I was prepared to buy the Adult Swim in a box for $50 if it included just the 2nd season, even though there are several shows I didn't care about in the box set, but this *big surprise* it only included the already released episodes. I already own the 1st season, but would rebuy it if it came in a set with the 2nd and 3rd season. I owned the first couple seasons of Home Movies but still bought the big-**werd** box set when it came out, well worth the money to me.
Yes, we could buy the "custom dvd", but for just the 2nd and 3rd season it would take up 4 dvds, costing $80 + $6 shipping, without extras, without a REAL case or dvd design, this is just unacceptable to me, I can't bring myself to pay that much money for something that is essentially a bootleg version of the series.
I understand that the first season's DVD release was not a financial success, and doesn't spell success for the 2nd and 3rd season, but I believe it could be if you did 2 things:
1. Air the series in it's entirety again (Possibly after Frankenhole like you started doing!), starting from the 1st episode, not the FINALE of the 1st season like you started the show in the first place, which basically spelled out it's failure from the beginning. Take my story: I was a converted Moral Orel fan, I watched the "premiere" and was disappointed by how depressing it was and never watched it again until the the "44 nights of Orel". I know for a fact there are other people like me, because I've talked some people into rewatching it after they also watched the "premiere" and were just depressed by it, and thereby "converted" them into fans of the series. Seriously.
2. Set up a pre-order site! You can gauge the interest in the series by how many people preorder, do this after you've aired a few episodes.
