Dear Adult Swim,

Please realize that not releasing Moral Orel in it's entirety on DVD is only promoting piracy of this fine series. Which is just a travesty, there is no legal way I can show my friends this brilliant show since you stopped airing it and are not releasing it on DVD. I want to give you money for this, but you're not letting me. I was prepared to buy the Adult Swim in a box for $50 if it included just the 2nd season, even though there are several shows I didn't care about in the box set, but this *big surprise* it only included the already released episodes. I already own the 1st season, but would rebuy it if it came in a set with the 2nd and 3rd season. I owned the first couple seasons of Home Movies but still bought the big-**werd** box set when it came out, well worth the money to me.

Yes, we could buy the "custom dvd", but for just the 2nd and 3rd season it would take up 4 dvds, costing $80 + $6 shipping, without extras, without a REAL case or dvd design, this is just unacceptable to me, I can't bring myself to pay that much money for something that is essentially a bootleg version of the series.

I understand that the first season's DVD release was not a financial success, and doesn't spell success for the 2nd and 3rd season, but I believe it could be if you did 2 things:

1. Air the series in it's entirety again (Possibly after Frankenhole like you started doing!), starting from the 1st episode, not the FINALE of the 1st season like you started the show in the first place, which basically spelled out it's failure from the beginning. Take my story: I was a converted Moral Orel fan, I watched the "premiere" and was disappointed by how depressing it was and never watched it again until the the "44 nights of Orel". I know for a fact there are other people like me, because I've talked some people into rewatching it after they also watched the "premiere" and were just depressed by it, and thereby "converted" them into fans of the series. Seriously.

2. Set up a pre-order site! You can gauge the interest in the series by how many people preorder, do this after you've aired a few episodes.

I couldn't agree more.

Amazon does that sort of thing, 'this item is not currently available, enter your email to be notified when it becomes available"... how do we set that up?

apparently their not releasing it because dino had an alternate more gruesome season 3/way to end moral orel but adult swim wouldnt let him do it because it was too gruesome and dino wanted to put these episodes on the dvd and adult swim found out and basically are putting a stop to it. to my knowledge the reason they made duno make an atlernate season 3 is because moral oral was planning on killing himself/every possibly and adult swim knew that moral oral was a character everyone loved and didnt want the fans to be upset but i think their upset even more now that they didnt let dino air the original season 3 as planned

From IMDb: Five seasons were planned. By the fifth season, Orel would have evolved from being naive and innocent to an emotionally mature person. According to creator Dino Stamatopoulos, the fifth season would have focused more on other townspeople and the title would have been changed to "Moralton"

Season three probably would have ended on a darker note than the ending we saw, but that's just because it wouldn't have been the ending, so we wouldn't have seen the flashforward to Orel with his happy family (which in my mind was a beautiful way to end the series (still, I would rather we were able to see the series play out the way it was originally planned)). Dino posted descriptions of what most of the alternate episodes would have been about as well (they sound awesome).

I remember seeing that somewhere... I'm sure it would have been awesome. At this point I'd be happy to have the aired episodes on DVD. I'd be ecstatic if there were some extras, like the unproduced scripts and the interactive video clips they had running on the site.

I agree, I wish all of this could happen, but it seems like that's not possible. I would at least like to know why it wouldn't be possible. Did Dino **NaClO** the wrong people off? Is the money it brings in really that bad? Something. If we can't finish Orel's story, at least tell us why not.

And if you can't speak freely: One wink, Dino pissed people off;  Two winks, Morel Orel makes negative dollars; three winks, it's not safe to talk.
