I wasn't sure which episode was coming on... as soon as I saw "Alone" on the screen I got goose bumps. This one is incredibly twisted and sad. The first time it aired I think I stared at the television, mouth agape, through the entire episode, and then a bit longer when it was over. Incredible insights are given into these women's lives in a short eleven minutes.
What did you think when you first saw this?
Also, if you haven't already, this is a good time to track down the script for the unproduced episode "Raped" ~ (discussion thread)

rarely has a work of animation moved me to actual tears; Nurse Bendy's portion of "Alone" did.
Some thought we were supposed to be laughing or creeped out by her..."role playing fantasy" at her home, but I got that A - Bendy is aware underneath that its just a fantasy she's acting out, she's not deranged or something B - it was just so utterly moving and sad that this two-dimensional background character, "the nurse who sleeps around", gets this whole scene where she shows how she longs to be a loving mother in a stable family relationship, and *she's annoyed that people think of her as a two-deminsional character* and don't realize that she's also sad or afraid or lonely at times.
