I've heard good things about Eden of the East. And I saw the dub of the first ep. I want to see more, so I might buy the DVDs when I get some money and go to ACen.

No, it was switched to a new song. As a word of explanation, the series originally aired in Japan with the song "Falling Down" by Oasis accompanying the opening. As you can imagine, a song by a band that huge is really really expensive to acquire rights for. FUNi was able to snag it for their release somehow, but only for the first episode; the rest use the same opening video with a replacement "international version" song. It's really a shame, since the song is awesome and works perfectly with both the video and the overall series material, but you can't blame FUNi for not being able to pay insane usage fees, and at least they were able to get it on there once.

I see. Well thats certainly interesting. I never knew Oasis contributed to anime. I guess big name bands do stuff like that sometimes.

Well Oasis didn't write the song specifically for the anime series; it was released as a single more than a year before the series premiered. The show's creative staff just decided to use it as the opening theme, since it fits really well thematically. They even did an extended version of the opening as a full-length music video.

eh, not suprised i figured it was gone for awhile already lol.

i rly liked that show actually it was the last show i enjoyed watching on [as] it was pretty decent it was slow but it picked up. i rly liked the animation and the characters too. shame i couldnt see it again, ah well yay for internet >_>
