Moribito Ending

So what did you think of the series fanale?  Yea or nay?  What would you have done different?

I thought it ended well.  It leaves things open for further adventures.  As I understand, the series is one adventure from a series of books, so if the series was to be faithful to the original material, you could not have a final resolution to everything.

I liked it, even though I thought it was kind of sad and part of me wanted Chagum to go on one more adventure, I knew the best choices were made.  It might be a miracle to see more of the books be animated, but I'd like to see it.  If not, I may just have a new series of books to read!

I feel satisfied enough. I mean the show hasn't impressed me much, other than the "Human or Tiger" and the Jiguro episodes. But it was nice.

I'm kinda disappointed that Balsa and Chagum didn't "raise a little Hell". I was actually expecting them to storm the palace on horseback, take all the jewelry and burn down the palace. Boy would that have made my day. :smileyvery-happy:

I'd rather have them get drunk and wake up the next morning in bed together totally naked with no memory of the night before.

But the actual ending was pretty good.

Either way works for me.  Better yet, Balsa, Chagun and Tanda get drunk. . . .

Maybe we can add Madam Torigai.  She seems to like to tie one on occasionally.

I thought the ending was very well done.  I'm glad to see everything turned out ok in the end.

Yeah, I think it's best I probably don't carry this on with you...  It's not going to get any better if I keep down this road. X_X

In any case, Yes, Astro'04, I agree with ya.  Great ending to a great show.

Regards the books, Moribito II: Guardian of Darkness (Yami no Moribito) has been available for a while at www.scholastic.com.  Hardcover; Moribito: Guardian of the Spirit should still be available in hardcover & paperback.  As for Yami no Moribito becoming an anime, prolly won't happen.  Geneon didn't do it.
