On the AnimeOnDVD.com forums, CEO John Sirabella of the North American distributor Media Blasters has revealed that Cartoon Network already negotiated the right to run the Seirei no Moribito (also known as Moribito - Guardian of the Spirit) fantasy adventure anime.

I'd think that Sirabella would've said Adult Swim if it was actually gonna go to it. Though he may just be including AS under the CN umbrella.

I refuse to believe you until the asmb experts tell us that it's going to bomb in the ratings and ** rabble :robotmad: ** worse than any other anime we've had so far.

They'll tell us to watch this one. A kick-butt female lead is the main character. Kim Manning will make sure this show is promoted, at least more than Blood+, Death Note, and (apparently) Code Geass were . . .

Moribito is probably going to end up on my top 5 list for 2007 anime shows.

Unfortunately, I do not care. I wish I did though.

 

It's nice that they are acquiring new anime, but this is a title I feel rather indifferent towards.
