They mentioned something about making a show out of this, in the New-York Comic Con panel. I thought there was a 50/50 chance they were joking. They were obviously not.

I'm glad this is getting picked up. Last season was a real thriller, but it left a lot of questions unanswered. I just hope they end the suspense and tell us where Trent got those badass sun glasses.

While I do believe this can be hysterical, I really don't hope this is as "Like Childrens Hospital but:" as it sounds.

I love Childrens, but we already have that show. However, this could be on a completely different level, and that is why I have hope.

Paul Scheer could provide his own "comedic voice" to National Terrorism Strike Force: San Diego: Sports Utility Vehicle, different to what Rob Corddry (?) does for Childrens' Hospital. (Hopefully that makes sense, I've been trying to work out how to word it)

And also,  posted this in another thread, but it might be useful here too - According to [adult swim] in a bump, National Terrorism Strike Force: San Diego: Sports Utility Vehicle will premiere around summer time  (next year, of course)

Well one would hope that Scheer would make it his own kind of show, but it does seem so similar to CH that it seems impossible.

I think even if it was just another fast paced slapstick comedy, it would at least pair nicely with CH.

Yeah, they could air it and CH season three back to back for a pretty solid half hour. It would probably work out better than pairing it with Frankenhole at least.

I think Childrens Hospital premiered in the Summer around that time, so a July premier would make sense. Especially if AS could get Childrens Hospital season three ready by that time so they could air the series back-to-back. That'd be like my dream half hour of premiers.

Them premiering back to back would make sense (also from a marketing standpoint because both shows would probably attract the same crowd) - whether Adult Swim sees it this way - we'll have to just wait.
