Paul Scheer is a writer, comedian, actor, and producer best known to Adult Swim fans as the creator/writer/producer/star of NTSF
DUV, and for his roles on Childrens Hospital and Fat Guy Stuck In Internet.

Paul Christian Scheer[1] (born January 31, 1976) is an American actor and comedian. He was one of the creators and stars of MTV's sketch comedy series Human Giant and currently co-stars as Andre on the FX comedy The League. Scheer has also made appearances on television programs such as Best Week Ever, 30 Rock, Funny or Die Presents, Parks and Recreation, Party Down and Childrens Hospital. He has also appeared in the films Piranha 3-D, Bride Wars, Year One and School for Scoundrels. Scheer's Adult Swim series NTSFDUV:: began airing on July 21, 2011.
Scheer was born in New Hyde Park, New York. He graduated from the School of Education at New York University, where he majored in Communication and Education.
Scheer currently lives in Los Angeles and is married to actress/writer June Diane Raphael.
In 1995, Scheer became a member of New York City's longest running Off-Broadway comedy show, Chicago City Limits. As a member of their touring company Scheer extensively traveled throughout the United States as well as overseas.
In 1998, he joined the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater in New York City where he performed Sketch and Improvisation with Respecto Montalban, winners of the 2003 ECNY Award for "Best Improv Show." The group included such members as Rob Riggle, Rob Huebel, Jack McBrayer and Dannah Feinglass. They performed their unique brand of long form improvisation to sold out crowds every Saturday night for over five years and even collaborated Adam McKay (director/writer of Anchorman) on a political sketch comedy show called "George Bush is a Motherfucker".
In 2002 Scheer created/starred in "Automatic Vaudeville" at the Ars Nova Theater, which the Hollywood Reporter called "one of the top five shows in the country."
Scheer is a regular performer at Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre in Los Angeles (UCBTLA).
Every Wednesday at 9:30PM he performs FACEBOOK, an improvised show based on audience member's Facebook profiles. The show was named the "Best Improv Show" by Los Angeles Magazine and has been profiled on Good Morning America. Cast members include Rob Riggle and Rob Huebel as well as frequent guest Jack McBrayer.
Every 1st and 3rd Monday of the Month at 11PM Scheer co-hosts Crash Test with Human Giant Alum Rob Huebel. Los Angeles Magazine calls the show "Extremely Funny...Several thumbs up" and MetroMix proclaims "Sketch Comedy doesn't get much funnier."
Scheer also occasionally performs a two person improv show with Jack McBrayer his 30 Rock nemesis.
Scheer and comedian Rob Riggle recently wrote and starred together in a series of filmed sketches called "Designated Driver" for the HBO sketch comedy program Funny or Die Presents, which began airing in February 2010. Scheer, Riggle and Rob Huebel also wrote and starred in a series of sketches for the second season, called "Death Hunt", which featured cameos from Jack McBrayer and Kathryn Hahn.
In December 2010, Scheer began hosting the comedy podcast How Did This Get Made? along with his wife June Raphael and comedian Jason Mantzoukas. The podcast is a roundtable discussion where Scheer, Raphael, Mantzoukas and other special guests try to make sense of terrible films.
Scheer's Adult Swim comedy-action series NTSFDUV:: began airing on July 21, 2011. The show started as a fake trailer shown in the first season on Childrens Hospital. The fake trailer also featured appearances by June Diane Raphael and Rob Riggle, who also co-star in the series with Scheer.

Funny story: I was watching NTSC
DUV:: last week and my roommate came in and started watching it.She thought it was a normal show. Ive never heard her mutter 'oh my god' so many times before.
By the end, she was laughing her ass off and I'm happy to say, she's now a fan.

1. When you did the fake commercial for NTSF
DUV:: in the middle of Childrens Hospital, was it already in the plans (or hopes? dreams?) that you were considering pitching a show? Or did that come later?2. What's it like working with Rob Riggle?
3. This question is about your recurring role on Childrens Hospital, as Blake Downs' (Rob Corddry's) clown brother. Mr. Corddry has said that the eye makeup feels really heavy on the eyelids. Do you agree? Was it he who approached you for the role?
