I enjoy NTSF but am a big The League fan.  I'm curious as to why you chose Fantasy Football as a central concept to the show when many of the either don't really touch on it or it's b or c plots.  Was it something that was going to be a bigger part of the story from week to week but you guys just wanted to branch from it or was it more of a justification for why these guys hang out while being dickish to each other?

Yeah, Piranha used 3D in a fun way. But I hear you. There is a big difference between something like Conan and Kick Ass - You just have top pick your films wisely.

I didn't create the show -- so I can't tell you exactly, but here's my opinion, a show only about FF would be boring. It would have to be so specific and timely to make it sense that it would have no rewatchabilty. Ultimately the League is a sitcom, about a group of guys who play FF and it takes place around a season. So it does focus on FF but not exclusively which would be detrimental to the audience who doesn't know about FF.

FF is fun but the reason it's a B or C plot is because the characters are the show. Not the reason why they are together. It's like Seinfeld, he was a standup but he never really talked about being a stand-up.

It is like a CSI type show with mentally inept main characters. I already hate those shows, and making a spoof of something already stupid, is increasing how moronic it is. Using your hand as a gun isn't funny its grade school humor.

Oh speaking of Kick Ass, did you happen to catch the film "Super" starring Raine Wilson, Liv Tyler, and Ellen Page? If you haven't I would recommend it to you. It was a great take on a super hero movie like kick ass where regular people become superheroes, but with so much more realism. I know it's a totally unrelated question to adult swim, but you seem like a real cinema lover, and this is a film that flew under the radar undeservingly.

Or you could look at like this CSI and CSI Miami are the #1 and #3 most popular shows in THE WORLD. That means that it's the most popular format not just in the US but throughout the globe. Shows like NCIS, 24 and Hawaii 5-0 are also incredible popular and no one is commenting on how silly they are. Which seems from your argument is something you'd like.

I'm going to let you off the, "spoofing something that already is stupid argument", cause essentially you are agreeing with me. Spoofs are reserved for poking fun at ridiculous things. Things that are great don't normally get spoofed because they are original and have less common elements that lend itself to parody.

Also your point that the characters are "inept" leads me to believe that you think this is a real show, I'll refer you to google where you can look up spoof and see examples.

Because based in this discussion, I feel like you have nothing to add and probably have seen the show or are even aware of what parody is.

Damon was a fan of Human Giant and he asked me to be involved with this Viral idea they had -- So I worked with Jensen Karp from Gallery 1988 to be the figure head of this limited edition art project they did for fans.

The original polar bear painting hangs in Carlton's office on the Disney lot.

No duplicates were made but the other art can be found on Ebay
