Figs are more expensive than I remember them to be And Touihou figs are more expensive than normal figs.

I'd love to have a figurine of Rangiku or Spike. My best fried tried to get me one of those for my birthday but they were either all sold out or too expensive, so he got me Orihime instead.

I want Angel, Nanoha, and Fate figures.  I know Caramello has the Nanoha one I really want.  It's like, $200 though, and I would never pay that much for a figure.  I should just get my dremel out and start carving one....

I saw a Rangiku figure in her bathing suit at Ikkicon for New Year's. In fact, the dealer was nice enough to let me hold it and take a picture even though I wasn't buying it.

Theres apparently an R.Dorothy Figma coming out.  Haven't gotten any since Figma's are just expensive action figures, but Dorothy may be the one that'll change that.

i looked at that one... but I've been very very picky about my figures these days (I can't afford many...) so I passed on him.  He is nice though...

Do you or does anyone else know which are the good/bad figurine companies? I read a review on one Holo figurine that was in the pose I wanted her in, but they said that once it was out of the box and unwrapped it was terribly designed. I think it was made by Tabiki or something like that.

For full size figures I personally love Alter, Mega House, Good Smile, and Kotobukiya the most...  stay away from Yamato and Takara.  If you give me some company names I can probably tell you which ones will look better... 

Also Tabiki sounds like a small company. For the most part stay away from small companies or read reviews. It sounds like that's not such a great figure.

I'm not a figurine expert, but I am a huge Devil May Cry fan, and that doesn't  look like a good Dante to me. The face looks kind of weird, like his jaw is too chisled. I've seen some pretty good ones elsewhere, but I don't knowthe companies.

For a while, I was adding figures that caught my eye to a bookmark folder name "figures, do want", which I guess I still have. Haven't been paying much attention to the figure market lately, but the next Big O figure sounds awesome.

That is made by Yamato... I'm not a big fan of Yamato...  I have 2 figures by them one is done really really well...  and one is done really really badly.  I find more bad figures by Yamato than good...  so it would be a risk.  Plus his pic doesn't even look all that impressive.  I would say wait and see if he turns out well before throwing down 100+ for him.
