I just want them to at least acknowledge it by giving a definitive "no", so I don't pay an arm and leg for a foreign copy+whatever I need to play alternate region codes, then find out FUNi decided to stop dicking around with it.

At minimum, those Q&A people should have known about anything that FUNi has any kind of rights to, instead of giving "What's that?" answer. Lose a lot of credibility if all they know about is DBZ, DBZ, and more DBZ.

Luckily that was the only really bad episode in the whole show. Even with that and the crappy ending, the show was still awesome and well worth watching.

Everything FUNi puts out on DVD/BD gets dubbed. They to my knowledge have never released anything subbed-only.

Not as a "main" release, but the Vandread OVAs did not get dubbed, although they were more of an extra to the series and were never a standalone release.

I really isn't interesting at all.  There is maybe 3 minutes of new footage in between the two OVAs and it adds NOTHING to the story.

Vandread has a great dub too.

I was saying the fact the OVA's aren't dubbed, but on a FUNi release is interesting. After all, they're known as the people who don't release stuff sub-only.

I think [AS] would be fools to pass up on the chance to show Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt. It'll go right up there with FLCL in terms of wackiness. The show is so raunchy and fits right in with [AS]'s typical style of humor.

Yeah about that. Apparently the writers were told to make the script as vulgar as possible, and someone asked about the possibility of it being on [adult swim] in an edited format is probably not that great. If they were to add censor bleeps, almost the whole episode would be nothing but bleeps. Believe me, I was there when Jamie Marchi said that. Speaking of which, I was lucky enough to watch the first two episodes there. The dub is freakin hilarious!! Chris Sabat pulls off an awesome Garterbelt. He really wanted that part, and it was a great decision.

From what I've heard, the Japanese Blu-rays were meh quality. Like I've heard they look nearly the same as putting your DVD's in your PS3.

How? The shows humor is mostly "Oh look, we're vulgar and joke about dicks and cum"

Except for that one episode of ATHF, [adult swim] has never really shown anything with that kind of humor.

Also, [as] likes it comedy to be - y'know, funny.
