i saw a picture from this manga that reminds me so much of Oda Eiichiro's art and decided to check it out. any fans?

I've been meaning to check it out too. I've heard good things about it, and Del Rey licensed it recently, so I'll be waiting for their release.

I'm looking forward to Del Rey's release too. I don't really know much about the series, but it sounds interesting. I like the majority of Del Rey's series, so I'm guessing I'll probably like this one too.

AH! i just heard of the manga this morning, so i didn't recognize it on the list of titles Del Rey announced at Comic Con. SWEET! can't wait!! though that means perhaps that i should stop reading the scans if i want to pick up the series. wow. Del Rey is seriously godlike!

I've been reading it for the past 2-3 weeks now, its pretty good, love the art to it, and the characters are well developed.

It's not bad, but it bored me a little so I stopped keeping up with the new releases.
The mangaka's other work, Rave, also has the same Oda style art.

Yep, I was really excited Del Rey picked it up, since they do a really good job at translation and notes and such.

really? i didn't get that vibe from Rave, but then i've never really seen the manga

with Del Rey doing it, reading the official translation would be worthwhile even after having read scans. i think i'll collect it when it comes out, provided i continue to enjoy the manga as much as i do.

Glad to hear it's good. Del Rey made a big fuss about that license apparently, so I'm happy to hear it will live up to the hype

I've read up on it and it seems very interesting. I was going to start it as my next manga, but I choose One Piece instead being as Fairty Tail has  too few chapters right now.

still reading scans. about 20 chapters in now...still like it a lot.

I believe the scans are up to 48-49 one of those two, but yeah it gets even better, just got to a really good point....but the people that scan it take forever, most likely cause its summer and most of them are on vacation

yeah, i have to hold back sometimes because the site i'm using only has 49 chapters, though wikipedia says there are 50. i'm almost haveway through all the material. what'll i do when it's done? i guess i'll real Fairy Tail weekly like Naruto, which i guess wouldn't be so bad. Fairy Tail and Naruto weekly, FMA and Hellsing monthly. not bad at all. and i should probably backtrack on D.Gray-Man or something...but then again, i'm graduating this year, so maybe i shouldn't spend so much time on manga.

Yeah, don't go to fast, its not to nice have to wait weekly, specially with these guys they haven't put out a chapter in a littler over a week, but like I said earlier its mainly cause its summer heh.

umm if you wanna start to read something I would say pick up BECK its on Vol. 30 and just put out Chapters 88-89 and from the feel of it, it's almost over so I wouldn't be a bad thing to start picking up .

Graduating High School or College? if High School, then yeah start studing up some stuff haha, it College well as long as you pass your finals your good

I haven't watched the anime yet, so I can't compare, but I still say its worth a try, its very good .

still reading it. got past the moon-drip arc and things are still quite interesting. i even got a friend interested in it. sadly, i've only got a surplus of seven chapters at this point, since i held back on reading for a few weeks.

I wish I wasn't current on it, the suspense of waiting...

I'm really interested in where this series goes, will it stay episodic in nature or will the plot thicken and get more epic?  I can't help comparing it to One Piece, which started out kinda episodic, but then grew into arcs of epic proportions.
