I frequent two lesbian websites, and I always take to a show that features an amorous lesbian.
That said, I feel that there is an unfair treatment of the carpet-munchers who just want to chew some rug that isn't into pugs.
So maybe it's time that we start honoring our brave women who love women by just talking about how much we adore their love of lady-hole.
And yeah, I'll probably watch A Certain Scientific Railgun eventually.

Level C is a wonderful yuri anime. The main couple does have wangs, but you could pretend they have vages

All the stuff I know with yuri is stuff that everyone's seen like Azumanga, Baka Breast, and Railgun, so I'm uncultured in yuri comedy

I am serious. Yuri often gets overlooked when it comes to these things. Mostly because Yaoi is so polarized. People either really love it or really hate it. But Yuri barely gets any recognition.

Oh my goodness, you're one of THOSE people.
Yuri's been getting too much recognition lately. Hell, it feels like you people find every chance to ship two girls (or two guys together for that matter) the second there's even a SLIGHT hint to YOU. I mean, i find that quite annoying, really.
You say Yuri doesn't get recognition, but look around, dude. There's a crap ton of people who support it and there's even MORE people who decide to ship people together every freakin' chance they get. ![]()

And yet, when I go to conventions, I am bombarded with Yaoi images and cosplayers. I see booths exclusively selling Yaoi merch. But do I see the same for Yuri? No. I barely see anything Yuri related. Yaoi is over done and over exposed. It's time Yuri got some due notice.

There's just as much yaoi pairings out there as there is yuri, and each has it's avenues with it's own fans (check manga sales for yaoi tastes and anime sales for yuri tastes). Yuri fans are very unopen about their passion in public settings, which is why yaoi fans can go to cons so that they can talk with other fans that share their interests and build a following for what they like. You can't really blame yaoi fans for liking what they do more than yuri fans

But yes, I get that there's a lot of enthusiasm for gay sex. Maybe because it's more like jousting?
I think swordplay is the word you're looking for.
