I was mocking you for calling Williams your least favorite when Polsky's two episodes were just...wrong.

You were mocking someone for having a subjective opinion.

Coming from you, this is just f*cking hilarious. Seriously, I'm impressed with myself for not being on the floor right now.
Anyway, Williams' worst (which I'd imagine most would consider to be TMMDW) is hardly as bad as either of the eps Polsky wrote. I'd go into more detail, but doing so in this thread would be a waste of effort. So, good day.

FPK , despite its "moral", is better than anything Williams has done yet.
Latest episode was pretty good. Loved when the guard was all OH HI TWILIGHT.

Applejack has a strong sense of family. Twilight has... none.

Not all families are close-knit. Doesn't mean they hate each other, it's just how they are.

Actually, being the MLP Season 2 Discussion thread, going into detail is exactly what is encouraged. It' only up to you whether or not it's a waste of time. ![]()

Guys, I've been wracking my brain trying to figure out what season 2 has been missing, and I finally figured it out: Twilight.
Even though she has made brief appearances throughout the season, her influence on the series has been diminished. I didn't realize it until yesterday, but she's really what holds the new series together. She's the go-to pony for all of her friends, and even when episodes aren't centered around her, they still need that scene where the central character aks Twilight for her bookworm opinion on the matter, be it correct or incorrect.
Stripping her of her stenographer duties to the princess may have been the worst decision that the studio has made, aside from letting Merriwether handle characterization.
So uh... yeah, I loved It's About Time, if that wasn't apparent.

I was referring more to who populates this thread. Urameshi, for instance, has consistently displayed himself as incapable of listening to reason, so I don't even know why I ever respond to him.
Anyway, post-ep thought. If the steady time loop is because of Twilight trying to warn herself not to fret over something that won't happen...then how did it even start?
@Nyanya: Polsky's eps were more entertaining, but the moral of FPK and the very nature of Over A Barrel just dragged them down way too much for them to be considered good.

That's the definition of a loop: it has no beginning, and no end. There have been a ton of plots in other shows that display a never-ending time continuum endlessly playing out over and over and over.
For instance, Bill and Ted: starts with them meeting their future selves and them knowing what number their past selves were thinking of. Middle of the movie, their past selves become their present selves and guess the number because they were already there. Confusing yes, but that's how those kinds of plots work.

Merriweather Williams: For when your letter to Princess Celestia just needs to be the perfectly annoying blend of moral ambiguity.
