Ok guys, Kabuto's getting his villainous flashback.  That usually means the end is near.  I give him five more real-time chapters tops of being a threat.  Which is too bad because for someone who's been in the series for so long I feel Kabuto's been quite underutlilized. 

Also, ninja nuns?  Lawlz.

Well they already have ninja chefs in the anime.....It makes me start to think that they are just taking words and putting the word ninja in front of them

So...apparently Kabuto is Big Boss.  Only with less manliness and more angst.

All I got out of this chapter was more proof that Orochinmaru was a total weirdo. It doesn't seem to matter who he's talking to or what the situation, he always pulls off that unique mix of pervy/creepy/evil. I miss that.

Good point above.  They usually get their life explained right before their life ends.  That's good because I really don't care why Kabuto sad   But he was facing the broken sharingan twice over.

God I am already tired of hearing about Kabuto past! This is worse than Pain rationalizing murder and pain for his puppy getting killed.

Wow, the creepiness just keeps coming. So Kabuto's like a vampire or something? Feeding on the essence of other ninja to obtain their power. Seems kinda B-movie to me, but this chapter did make me better understand how fundamental Kabuto was to Orochimaru's goals. Now I see that he was Orochimarus rightful heir, and have more respect for him. Still don't know what he's all about though; doubt he does either.

Hmm, seems like a lot of movie cleches in there: Dracula, The Godfather, The Manchurian Candidate. How about Back To The Future next...

It's not funny if you have to explain it, but what the hell: Back To The Future = Enough with the #### flashback.

That said, it's a decent cast line up there. I'd add Kakashi as Einstein for the lols, and Guy as nonspeaking extra.

That's why it's the perfect role for him, he's always getting the worse deal despite how hard he tries to be center stage. It's his running gag.  Come to think of it we're about due for another round of it.

The end of the chapter.. Itachi got cut in half. The look on everyones faces was like he's dead! But isn't he Edo Tensei'd so it shouldn't affect him right?

Well, since he's dead he can't die, but that was certainly more than a scratch and more of an interruption than a hiccup. He'll probably do that paper-mache reforming thing, but maybe Kabuto will take advantage of the moment to take him out. He had that kunai with a seal in one frame; the one Orochimaru used to control/remove the former Hokages' personalities.

New chapter's out! Bit of an anticlimactic ending to this battle (if it is really over). Unless something more is revealed about Izanami, I'm a little disappointed by it. I can't argue with the results, but it's such a cheap way to win. Infinite loop illusion? Way to fill up pages Kishi!

How the hell do you get caught in Izanami?

I understand that you can get caught in Izanagi regardless of your senses because it's more of a genjutsu that's cast on the user rather than the opponent, but Izanami is solely affecting the opponent. If it didn't trap Kabuto through sight lock (since Kabuto said he severed his vision or some crap), then how did he get caught in it?

Cause if it's just as simple as looking at your opponent for a long time, then Sasuke better not ever lose another fight.

New chapter's out! Apparently Izanami is just as simple as having a deja-vu moment, but took an entire chapter to explain properly. Good news is next chapter will finally see us move on to new items now that the fight is "over". I swear I've never been able to predict Itachis actions and I never will.

I miss the days when all the sharingan could do was rip off the techniques of users who worked hard to develop them and the Byakugan was the superior eye technique. Also, seeing Lee humiliate sasuke with pure Taijutsu. Those were the days...

It's just so sad to see what this manga has become. 

At least we've got the Rock Lee manga to remind us of the good times.
