Too pacifist? Sure, Naruto wants to end the chain of hatred that a ninja life brings, but come on, more than that, he wants to protect Sasuke. This is his way of doing so. I don't think it makes him an "asshat". I'm really not sure why this bothers you at all. We all know if he were serious, he could do away with the Cloud nins, but again, that would breed more hatred.

I'm sure Naruto is not okay and does not condone what Sasuke has been up to, but Naruto still considers Sasuke a friend and doesn't want any harm coming to him. Naruto believes he can change Sasuke, which is why he hasn't given up on him.

Yes, and if he leaves, that's just going to **BLEEP** them off even more, and then, they won't even let him come along to find Kirabi and at that point, they really would be hell bent on killing Sasuke, thus the chain of hatred would continue. Having them take out their pain and frustration out on him seems fine to me. He'll be fine. He'll just get up, brush his shoulders off, and move on.

Hey is the Shippuuden thread still active?

I finally caught up to the latest ep (skipped the fillers) and I must say that the animation has improved a lot. U can notice it in the character's movements, the colors and dramatic effects. I don't know if it's done by the same animation company or a different one but kudos on the quality power up. The eps 79 - 80 were really good.

About the manga, it might be interesting to see a second showdown between Gaara & Sasuke since the first was interrupted and now they have both developed in their powers and Gaara no longer has the Shukaku.

As to that comment made by Madara about syncing Sasuke w/ the Gedo Mazo, it raised the question wether he wants Sasuke to contain all the demons in his body??? I dunno, that may be a weird theory.

Also Nagato's Gedo Mazo reminded me of Itachi's Susano O.

Yeah, I can imagine. I don't really mind the fillers though, I know they are an unfortunate necessity. I hope they don't start up again in Naruto, since I believe that a new filler arc will begin in Bleach. I really should start looking for some new anime.

The only thing to gather about Danzou is as a whole he became Hokage for his own interests, not for the sake of the village. I'm beginning to doubt he's Tobi, and for some reason I've even been questioning if the Tobi we see anymore is actually there! I mean, if he's some sort of Ninjutsu or something created by Madara, at least that would explain why he can't be hit.

On this new chatper, only one thing is really on my mind. Kisame addressed Tobi as "Mizukage," yet this chapter we see that the Mizukage is a woman. What the hell is that about?

Also, the theory that Danzo is Tobi is still on the table and it may have even gained some more weight with the Danzo secretly thinking that Kabuto might know about him and Orochimaru. I suppose Danzo could have been referring to some bad things he did with Orochimaru back when he was apart of the village, but it could have something to do with Akatsuki as well.

Oh it makes sense... in a parallel universe. This made me ask myself if I would ever do that for a friend? The answer is no. Perhaps only for my family and that's coz we're close. But I suppose that's how Naruto who grew up /wo a family sees Sasuke, as his brother. Still if I ever did that for my own brother I would insist of having a go at him afterward. U know, a few sisterly smacks to let off some steam for the his stupid actions that probably caused the problem in the first place. And I can be quite vicious. Yeah I saw something about this theory in some other forums, only I was too lazy to go look for the original post to see what is was about. I think it had something to do w/ Tobi's arms and how he never uses his hands for jutsus and Danzou's body is busted up in a similar way. Apart from that I really don't know much about it.

Yup, I noticed that and was quite confused by it.

And I think that what Danzou is worried about is that Anko might find out that he was trying to make a deal w/ Oro back when he sent Sai w/ the list of the Anbu's identities (tho' we know that he was trying to have Sasuke killed), plus I think he also wants to regenerate his body w/ Oro's techniques.

I really don't know much about this Danzou = Tobi theory, but it doesn't make sense that Tobi would want to have Sasuke killed like Danzou seems intent on doing. Rather Tobi has a purpose in mind for Sasuke. And really the guy already has 3 identities (Madara, Tobi and Obito). A fourth one would be really pushing it, even for Kishi.

That was actually an error. Kisame addressed him as former mizukage.

Because that's what it said in the chapter, but it was corrected for the volume release to say "former Mizukage".
