Occording to someone I spoke to a few days ago(who insists that they know everything about Japan), Japanese male Host Clubs, like the one in Ouran, Usually cater to a gay male clientelle.....if that's true, I'm left to ask.....why the hell is Haruhi working there, why are all their customers female, and why do all the other Hosts want to get into haruhi's pants?

I already looked up male host clubs just now, and aside from a small few clubs in the Gay part of Tokyo, from what I can tell, most host clubs cater to women, I.e. the person I spoke to doesn't know anything about host clubs

yeah about that......I'm aware that the japanese perception of homosexuality is that they're masculine(which belive it or not is probably statistically true seeing as how gay men test as having higher testosterone than heteorsexual men).....but alot of the Gay anime characters I've seen are feminine....like the American perception....why?, I mean

- Zoicite/ the least masculine of Beryl's servants, can convincingly crossdress, screams like a woman prides his appearance over everything else, in love with Kunzite
- Kunzite/ more Masculine than Zoicite but still fussy about his appearance and still somewhat flamboyant
- Fish-eye/ so girly that the Anime's writers called him she twice and the animators drew him with breasts once until Naoko told them he was supposed to be male, oddly, dispite the animation and script confusion, he had a male voice actor(who sounded so androgynous that some people thought the va was a girl)
