Aigoo, the anime handled the Dojima family social link events pretty much perfectly. And, just like the game, it got me to tear up. Gah, I'm so attached to the characters! That was one of the best things Atlus did in P4 - give the MC a family to come home to. Just one example of how the bonds between the characters felt more real compared to P3.

That group date cafe. I've never seen what happens when you choose the girl's side. That was unexpected. But hillarious. And the fox's shrine is confirmed connected to Gensokyo, because everybody's gay in Inaba (except Kanji). Yosuke End confirmed.

It was as I feared. Something had to give for the Social Linkan, and it was the beauty contest. Still good stuff, but it's missing a lot without all the trash talk. Especially from Hanako. Oh well. Rest of the ep made up for it.

I do have agree to a degree but one of the things that is  one of most entertaining about Persona 2:Innocent Sin is the fact that all the playable characters have daddy issues(and one also has mommy issues).

Not to mention the final boss is Daddy Issues Incarnate mixed with bondage and tentacles.

Also I prefer neither girl. One's a pikachu and the other one has Daddy Issues that are awful.

If I remember right if you sit on the girls side and say Yosuke is the one you date  Yosuke will  start talking about all the reasons why guys would totally want to date him. Only to shut up when he realizes he's digging himself into a nice little hole.

In the game the girl's contest had two parts: a regular introduction in normal clothes, and then a swimsuit competition. Naoto was there for the first part, but didn't even show up to the second. Also, I think they wore the swimsuits that they had before - ie, the animators got to be lazy and not make a model for Naoto.

I started playing my current playthrough again, since I can't play my PC games right now. I stopped previously at the part where Naoto just got snatched, and you have to find all this other info. It was weird having the Scoobies calling her "he" again. Of course I'm past that now and am almost to the part where she joins the party (if you don't save her in the first available day, you #### at vidja worse than me, a pretty large feat of fail), and she is the only SL I really have left to do that I'm going to do, besides Kanji (Yosuke isn't in my party, so he can be forever alone at SL2 ). It's weird being in the past, man.
