I was kind of surprised that the Heat gave up so quickly. I think OKC's offense is just too good when they hit shots and move in transition.

Just finished watching the first episode of stand alone complex. I want to start watching something with a little more action though. I feel like this series flounders around the middle. I only say that because most episodes I've already watched were in the middle of the series and I feel like there's a lot of beating around the bush with the heavy dialogue. I also just ordered some manga and graphic novels online today so I'm pretty syked to get those.

I agree completely. The Heat started off so good, but once OKC hit their stride, it was all over. I think what the Heat need to do to make sure the same thing doesn't happen again is to have better defensive rotations and play better man to man (Westbrook aside) because there were so many cases where players got caught looking at nothing, that could have been easily prevented if it weren't for fatigue.

Hell, letting Durant settle for the jump shot is fine, he's going to make 70% of them, but it's better than letting Westbrook constantly get passes to Collison for easy dunks. The other issue is Miami needs to focus more on ball movement (something they were doing in the first half, but not the second). I think they settle for the Wade/James isolation far too easily (granted LeBron was still driving to the basket often in the fourth, just getting unlucky in general when finishing those layups he often makes).

Overall, if Miami makes a few defensive adjustments and focuses a bit more on ball movement (also cutting down turnovers big time. Wade was making me cringe so much yesterday), they'll definitely make the Thunder work for the trophy. Overall I agree that OKC is the better team (they have so much more depth), but the Heat can definitely beat them with the right defensive mindset.

The Heat have shown they can hold a lead with the win they just had but I just hope the refs don't make any sketchy calls in Miami. They missed a call at the end of game 2 that would have given OKC the chance to tie that game and bring it to over time.

I actually want the Heat to win but I have to be honest OKC do have a better chance just because of the depth on their team. The Heat do have Battier and Chalmers who can make things happen but I will not be surprised if OKC takes it anyway.

That's what I thought was going to happen but the Heat were able to hold that lead. The third game isn't till was Sunday night I'm so pissed.

I agree wholeheartedly. I think OKC definitely has a better chance at winning the title especially considering Durant is borderline unstoppable once he gets going. The only way I see the Heat winning this series is if either Westbrook or Durant get hurt to the point that they can't play, or like in Game 2, foul trouble keeps them off the court.

Or LeBron goes off on them like in Game 6 against the Celtics while Wade has a Finals-tier game at the same time.

It's so Turner doesn't have to worry about lawsuits or something like that. It's annoying, but I guess it isn't that big of a deal really.

That said, just imagine how insane the boards would be if something like "anime" was blocked.

Or the refs continue to just do a horrible, horrible job making good calls like they did the night Rondo scored 44, and the last game of the series when Rondo was getting hacked in the paint.

The amount of charging fouls these refs have been calling are atrocious. Just let them play, really.

The heat have Mario Chalmers and Shane Battier on their team, which amuses me that the heat team is so depth-less that those piles of dogshit are starting on a finals team.

Tom Washington, Tony Brothers and Dan Crawford apparently didn't read the referee's handbook that morning. I mean, goaltending? Really, Tom Washington... really?

Oh BTW - did anyone read about this? Makes the whole "colusion" angle seem slightly more plausable.

That excuse holds no water considering the fact that the video section has swear words in them, and once again, the front page of the boards says "bitches", in pretty large font. Plus this is the internet, two clicks and I'm on a hardcore porn site. That's always been a weak-ass excuse because any kid who would read this site, would likely already know of [as]. Especially back when I joined and the boards weren't public.

Honestly, if there was a lawsuit for something so stupid, it'd be thrown out so fast, and the plaintiff would have to reimburse Turner's fees even.
