Actually, with rumors of a possible Toonami return growing from within CN, this might actually happen.

That'd be interesting.. haven't heard of any rumors myself; question is is this another 20th anniversary sort of thing (though they gotta do something honoring Toonami this year or else) or something permanent. I'd like to think CN's ratings were better when Toonami was around..

(my personal wish is for [as] to be able to run Outlaw Star uncensored, but the chances of that ever happening are a far worse bet than Toonami coming back)

I own the complete series on DVD. I wish Sunrise would continue the epic tale of Gene Starwind and his crew in a continuation of the anime series. I mean, "Outlaw Star" was so open-ended (mostly because it takes place in the universe which just so happens to be infinite) they could go anywhere with the plot.
