ive been watching this on the internet recently for the first time since it originaly aired on toonami back in the day. what im watching is uncut, and i think you could get away with most of the cut stuff on AS.

[adult swim] may be able to air all the edited content (except for Gene's utterings of sh!t), but they don't have the rights to this show anymore, and they do not plan on buying it back anytime soon. Also, this show DID air on Adult Swim once, but it was the Toonami version, since they couldn't reverse all of the edits made for Toonami.

Yeah it was a great show, but the rights have passed and short of getting the DVD's (well worth it) you probably won't see it on TV again.

Outlaw Star is awesome but im afriad its going to be forgotten because no1 shows it on tv , its really hard to find on the internet and there aren;t any recent fan sites, it really **bleep** ...Outlaw Star is an anime classic equal to that of Cowboy Bebop and Trigun but it was robbed of it's glory by toonami's butchering of its perverted humor...besides theres nothing gene does in the series that we havent seen miroku do 1000x in inuyasha. Adult swim needs to bring it back, i mean if they can afford to run **bleep**ty shows like pee wee and trinity blood they can afford to buy rights to Outlaw Star...
