Cartoon Network lost the rights to air OS, and it doesn't look like they're to interested to buying them back.

I'm not sure why. It couldv'e been a number of things. It might have been that their time ran out, maybe they sold the rights, maybe they broke some kind of contract and voided their rights to air OS. I've asked this question before to, but I've never managed to get a clear answer.

Yes. But the OS and OS2 mangas haven't been translated and released in America.

I just searched Barnsandnobles.com, and I couldn't find any OS manga.

OK. Here is what I've gathered: There are 3 volumes of OS manga that ended abruptly, and, according to Morning Star's website, Outlaw Star 2 is a continuaiton of the manga, and Sunrise has no current plans to make a second season of Outlaw Star.
