Outlaw star didn't really sustained itself...also, it was on toonami. Most shows that switch from toonami and [as] aren't usually shown in thread. For example, Yu Yu hakusho and Tenchi Muyo.

This is because they don't have the rights to any of those shows anymore, so they are not legally able to air them, much less air them online (which requires additional rights).

I'll never understand why Williams Street was unable to air Outlaw Star and Tenchi uncensored. Contractual agreements, Standards and Practices, or a **beast**k move?

For the longest time, I thought WS fooled viewers into thinking Outlaw Star and Tenchi were uncensored. I mean, both shows were popular on Toonami but they were heavily edited for the time-slot it was aired on. Then along came Adult Swim which offered a block for uncut anime. It was obvious the two would go together, right? No not really, they recycled the Toonami broadcasts on AS.

Actually Outlaw Star generated some good ratings for Adult Swim back in the day and was an awesome show.

Many of the shows that AS no longer holds the broadcast rights to don't have links or discussion folders on the board.

I think I'm going to put Outlaw Star in the next Actn poll in the General Action Discussion folder though because people still request/talk/post about it a lot.

Each month, the show that gets the most votes in the poll gets a shot at a discussion folder.  It only stays if people keep posting in it though.

Check out the General Action Discussion and General Comedy Discussion folders each month anybody who is interested in seeing discussion folders for shows not currently represented, if a show shows up on the poll you'd like to see us have a dicsussion folder for, vote.
