I heard a lot people saying PHF is the worst comedy to be put on AS.  So please give me a VALID reason why you think PHF is the worst?

Well, I can't say that I dislike PHF, because I've never actually seen it. But any show with that title can only be one of two things...

Either really really funny, or incredibly dumb.

Reasons:
1. The first part was a parody of anime. The animation was so bad that it failed on this front. It was like a 9 year old retard trying to paint a Rembrandt (to make fun of him)... You could never get the joke.
2. The joke about that girls @ss was repeated so many times that it became unfunny. And that was about the only joke we had for the first few minutes.
3. The "random" stupidity seemed lazy and pointless (To see that done with actual jokes, please watch an episode of ATHF)
4. If the word "**bleep**" makes you laugh (because you are 7 and a half years old) then you are in luck. Because that was about all you would be given to laugh at in the "Space Ghost" portion of the show. (Go back and watch old Space Ghost eps. They are far more fast paced and amusing.)

      I thought it was hilarious.  However, it was pointless and stupid and that's not everyone's kind of comedy.  Some people prefer regular plots, while others (like me) prefer the random and stupid stuff.  Personally, I can't sit through a comedy if it's not stupid.  You put a real storyline into it and it won't take me any time to change the channel.

    Anyway, it's the same thing only the other way around.  People who want a real plot and storyline don't usually take to the more random and stupid.  Most comedy movies that go for pointlessness become quite popular, but also get a lot of bad reviews by critics.  It's a matter of taste really.

   One other thing.  People were expecting something and something totally different came on.  This tends to **bleep** people off.  I was a bit disappointed, I was actually looking forward to Squidbillies.  But that didn't stop me from liking PHF, but it might have ruined it for some people.

I've been watching [adult swim] since it debuted and I never felt compelled to say anything about it until I watched that piece of garbage on Sunday.  I wasn't looking foward to watching "Squidbillies", I watch [adult swim] while I do my homework EVERY Sunday.  I hated PHF because it was pointless, unfunny, and whoever got paid to produce that should be arrested for grand larceny.  Funny and pointless = ATHF.  Funny, but filled with bigotry = Sealab 2021.  PHF and that Super Milk trash were both an insult to [adult swim] viewers.  They know **bleep** well that mess wasn't funny.

Hey, everyone! The Roaming Sheep has returned, a musical, a play, 3 improv shows, and a one-act later!

Anyway, I thought that "Perfect Hair Forever" was hilarious. I think [adult swim] made an accurate and entertaining farce of anime, one that rivals even South Park's "Good Times With Weapons".

For one, I love the "Uncle Grandpa" joke. It's one of those more subtle anime references (most anime characters are teenagers living with their uncle or grandfather. They just combined the entities). A more elaborate joke was the "Blinda in skimpy schoolgirl costume" joke. I've seen a LOT of anime in my time, and almost always some form of fanservice is present. In this, they exaggerate it to such an extent that her panties actually show... all the time. The "perverted old man" cliche was also very amusing. A few pieces of dialogue I also enjoyed was the bald kid's explanation that he is a "modest youth with a competative spirit" (like 90% of anime characters), and 'Yuu Robot"'s "Either her is very, very, very smart, or very, very, very stupid" remark. The guys at [as] know their anime.

Lastly, I think it's not only pathetic, but sadly amusing that people are actually insulted by this program. People, by retaliating to it you are only evidencing your own ignorance. It's just good clean fun. Get over it and live on. You're only as intelligent and mature as your attitude. The cartoon's not going to give a rebuttal.

Yes, "Penguins Behind Bars" was intolerable and unsuited to be on Adult Swim. Maybe that old show "O, Canada" would have been better for it.

"Have I seen worst?" That is an incomplete sentence. But I assume you are asking if I have seen worse. Yes, of course I have. But what does that matter? Art is not a lesser of evils. If two paintings are poorly done, yet one of them is absolute garbage, does it then make the other painting good? No. They are both bad, and one happens to be worse.

What is your point here? Is Perfect Hair the worse thing I have ever seen? Absolutely not. Was it something I found to be entertaining? Absolutely not.

I absolutely detested it. I wouldn't say it was the worst (adult swim has shown some real crap in the past), but I definitely did not like it. It was inane, pointless, badly animated, demeaning, and the only purpose it seemed to serve was to make fun of anime. How would adult swim like it if someone made fun of Aqua Teen Hunger Force or Sealab? It wasn't even funny. The only part that I even thought was funny at all was the tree, but that's only if you stop to think how a tree could have sex with dogs....

Anyway, what really bugged me were when the end credits had the creator's names in fake Japanese. That was really offensive and insulting.

However, I have to admit that the panel discussion afterwards was hilarious, almost enough to make me feel sorry that Squidbillies wasn't going to be an actual show.

Ever hear of Parody Tv shows do it all the time.

They would probably like it it would let them know they are being recognized. It's not like they are going to get pissed and try to sue whoever did it.

I couldn't agree more and I'm not going to say it's the worst AS show ever, because I have seen all of the AS originals. I will say this though, it's the absolute worst AS show 'I' have ever seen. I think I only laughed once or twice and the rest was just an anxious frown while waiting for the next segment.

Ever hear of Parody Tv shows do it all the time. I agree, a good parody can be funny, but not only was PHF horribly made and put together, (as well as NOT FUNNY), it was just horribly offensive and insulting.

They would probably like it it would let them know they are being recognized. It's not like they are going to get pissed and try to sue whoever did it. No, and they probably would be amused by a good parody, but a parody that did nothing but portray their shows in a negative light, provided no entertainment value, and basically spat upon Williams Street would not be taken kindly.
