1. The first part was a parody of anime. The animation was so bad that it failed on this front. It was like a 9 year old retard trying to paint a Rembrandt (to make fun of him)... You could never get the joke.
2. The joke about that girls @ss was repeated so many times that it became unfunny. And that was about the only joke we had for the first few minutes.
3. The "random" stupidity seemed lazy and pointless (To see that done with actual jokes, please watch an episode of ATHF)
4. If the word "**bleep**" makes you laugh (because you are 7 and a half years old) then you are in luck. Because that was about all you would be given to laugh at in the "Space Ghost" portion of the show. (Go back and watch old Space Ghost eps. They are far more fast paced and amusing.)
im not saying it was my favorite cartoon, but i think theres a lot you're missing:
1. the cartoon didn't make fun of the quality of the drawing. except it did make fun of the mouth movement and big eyes. and bad dubbing.
2. the joke about the skimpy skirted girl involved the main character not realizing anything was unusual about it and not understanding the distraction of his uncle grandfather. and the perverted uncle grandfather being obsessed with it while giving some standard wise-sounding advice about following 'the path' and things like that which you find in most anime. so it was a few things going on at once. then there were a lot more anime jokes through the whole episode, including the ending credits which mimicked anime credits which have an inspirational image in the background and touching song about the virtues displayed in the show.
3. a lot of the random stupidity were also jokes on japanese culture. some of the other random humor was funny. when the bear brought space ghost in his mouth and the boy asked, 'are you giving this to me?' (which is a based on a common response to dogs)
4. no i think it was the way he deliberately said 'my
human father put his
human p---- in my
shark mother's
shark v-----' . and how space ghost then said, 'and you just stood by and let it happen? you're pathetic.' there was a angsty teenage shark-boy who was shocked by his parents having inter-species sex. and then space ghost chastising him for not stopping it, when it took inter-species sex for him to be born. then there was meatwad forced to wear a space ghost head as a hat.
