Because they are two completely unrelated things.....and frankly I'm tired of people comparing things in general. That's why no one can ever enjoy shows on AS. Because boo hoo American Dad is not like Family Guy and ATHF is not like Inuyasha blah dee blah **bleep**ING BLAH

No Space Ghost, but the Phantom Cruiser did put in an appearance during the Queen-like opening song, "Survive the Wolf." Also, I noticed that C. Martin Croker was listed among the voice actors. Good stuff. I like the way this show is going.

The scene with Catman in the convenience store was pure genius.

Spike...? I thought that character was making fun of Yugi from Yu-Gi-Oh. Since he was calling himself the "King of Animals" instead of the King of Games. And then the whole hamburger neckless yet which was making fun of the Mellinium Puzzle Yugi wore around his neck.

Yes. His hair, the clothes, and actually the green bird on his shoulder are all things from Cowboy Bebop. They changed certain things but I know Spike when I see him. But yeah, it is a mixture of different animes in general.

Also, I see that Gerald has made peace with the hotdog. After all, he thought it was annoying in the pilot.

I'm loving this show...  the spoofs on anime is some of the funniest parts. Hope they actually show ep 3 next week.

The hotdog is actually conveying information with his weird singing this time, kinda like R2D2. Before it was just annoying.

This was my first time watching the show, and I enjoyed the he!l out of it!  Sure, they're poking fun at anime- BAD anime.  You know what I mean, that badly drawn, pointless, plotless, confusing garbage posing as anime (I won't name names, the guilty parties know who they are).  Heck, watch Bo-bo-bobobobobo and tell me it isn't worthy of this kind of parody!  Oops, I guess I let ONE name slip... 

I have absolutely no proof, but am willing to bet a hotdog that the show's creators are actually hardcore anime fans.
