Personally, I don't give a rat's ass about whether or not anyone was trying to make a political statement with the whole Bush's head on a pike scene, and I couldn't care less about whether or not anyone was offended. This is about the miserable #### who made this earth shaking discovery and decided to post it on the internet.

I have waited patiently since this #### season ended (a whole #### year now) for this show to become available in some format where I could purchase and watch it. (i don't do dvd's) Now, FINALLY, there is an amazon app for the xbox and I am completely #### enthralled with this show. And what happens? They have to pull the last #### episode of the season, the day before I was going to buy it, because of your dumb asss! Now who #### knows how long it will be before I get to see the #### finale? (I've read the book. I know what happens; that isn't the point.)

Seriously, the shows been out for a year and nobody noticed this before. What? Did you #### sit there in your parents' basement and #### zoom in on every #### scene just looking for ####t you could post on your dumb GOT superfan blog? I heard that it was actually in the commentary of the episode of the DVDs. Someone in the production of the actual show commented on how they didn't realize that a Bush dummy head was in the box of body parts they got en masse for use on the show until after the scene had been shot. Then someone said that the head looked kind of familiar and a closer look revealed that it was Bush.

The thing that upsets me is the fact that HBO appoligized for the act and admonished the show's staff.

Some people have completly lost that sense of prospective.  I mean, take a look.  Take a good, hard look at the stuff on HBO.  They show some of the most outrages stuff, and nobody so much as bats an eyebrow. 

Then, they put a fake head of George W. Bush on a stake, and the whole internet flips their collective s**t and forces the exectuives at HBO to issue a public appology.

The whole word's gone crazy.

If someone had noticed it on the set but not said anything at all, it still would have gotten out and then it would have looked like they did it all on purpose and were then covering it up. At least by mentioning it during the commentaries, they acknowledged that it happened and likely didn't think that people would flip their crap over it because to them, it was just another prop head until someone looked closer after the fact. I'm willing to hazard that the dummy heads didn't have any hair [quality heads usually don't, preferring to allow a real wig to be attached after and styled for a more realistic look than a Ken doll paint job] and how many people would recognize their own bald head, let alone a President's, in a box of heads? Hell, for all I know, the next head over was an Al Gore knock-off.
