Telling people to shut up because they might hurt someone's feelings, without responding to what they actually said, is dishonest and stupid. Why don't you respond to the actual message instead of getting so hung up on how they said it?

See, if that was what you posted in the first place, I never would have gotten on your case, because I happen to agree with a lot of what you said there. I don't care for lildreamelf's post much myself. It was that whole, "shut up if you think you might insult someone" post and then disagreeing with stilgar when he said there were times that that was necessary that ticked me off.

Every time you retaliate, you instigate more responses just like that - I'm loathe to say "just ignore them" since that isn't always the right reponse, but considering the kind of trolling you get, maybe it's the right thing to do for now.  Just post your thing and let it go.  THere are plenty of people that will give you a reasonable response.
