Rock, Paper, Scissors. We all know the game, right?
Rock beats Scissors.
Scissors beats Paper.
Paper beats Rock.
However, there are some douche-bags who have a problem with that last one. Paper beats Rock. Apparently, they disagree with this. There is a "like" on Facebook (stfu about facebook. I dont care if you dont use it) called "Paper beats Rock? Okay, I'll throw a rock at you and you defend yourself with paper." Now I haver a BIG problem with this like. Paper beats Rock by covering the rock. Sure, it's still a rock. Covering a rock in paper doesn't render it useles, however, in the games rules, it does. I have actually heard of games where children have Rock beat both Paper AND Scissors. WTF? Doesn't that render the whole point of playing RPS worthless? If Rock beat everything then why wouldn't every kid choose Rock (I'm sure they have). You play RPS to solve conflicts. If Rock trumps all, then there is no resolving this conflict, instead, you're creating a new one. If you both pick Rock, who the f*ck wins? Also, there were games I've played as a young child where you start RPS by saying "Rock, Paper, Scissors, Shoot!" "Shoot" as in "draw". As in "go". Not point your finger like a gun and use it as a trump against Rock, Paper, AND Scissors. It p*sses me off and if you've ever played a game of RPS using any other rules except the standards mentioned above, you are mental and if you defend those changed rules, then you are a douche-bag.
Now, express opinions:

I actually competed in the RPS Championship tourny a few years back, and as a veteran player I can tell you people will try to circumvent the rules at all costs. Paper beats scissors because THIS paper was INDUSTRIAL STRENGTH and clearly would have destroyed the scissors in an attempted cut. I've had people cite natural erosion as the method by which rock was defeated by Scissors, because "rock aint as hard as metal", I've had paper players, oh and they are the worst, paper players actually try and argue that they could in theory, paper cut the hand holding the scissors which would disarm the thrower and result in victory. I've seen buzz saws, guns, dynamite, gary coleman, all sorts of invented moves haphazzardly thrown in as a vain attempt to steal victory from the jaws of defeat.
its a bitter game, man.

They get down on their knee's and pull their arms inside their shirt, then stare angrily at you.
The animus combined with the failure associated with Gary is, as these players would tell you, enough to crushed a rock, severely damage a pair of scissors and fill paper up with dialogue from different strokes season finales.
