Yeah, I've carried on whole one-sided conversations while out biking or walking. Vocal equivalent of random posting. I often think that the fans of the show are the kind that don't feel the need to scream how awesome it is all the time on the internets which makes the complainers seem that much louder. And this folder that much more deader.

That is basically the rule of the internet. People will generally get on the internet to complain or rant. Sometimes they get on to rave about something good. I don't think many people even know this board exists, to be honest.
As for whether I am excited about Robot Chicken, the new episodes could not come fast enough. And I don't think they have run out of fresh material although sure there are some recurring tropes. But considering I could go watch the reruns even now and fall out of my chair laughing I have no fear of new episodes being too tired.
