Some of the skit bits from the Sweet Jay Presents thing got repolished and used in RC episodes. Any hope of any others getting that same treatment or do you guys feel that all the decent enough ones have been used?
Question from the boards - have the individual Stoopid Monkey sign-offs been officially discontinued in favor of the current silver monkey logo?
Any hopes of getting Lazzo to do his own voice again? [that Lazzo dance thing at the end of season 4 cracks me the f up every time I see it, by the way. ]

Believe it or not, yes, sometimes that's how it happens. We can get pretty loopy in the writers room, just sitting there trying to be funny, eating ding dongs and drinking sprite all day. It's inevitable that someone will grab an action figure and have them start talking to people. In fact if you search for "Captain Stubing's Bad Day" on youtube you might get an inside look for yerself.

I would say to all those floating around, hoping for the official reply of awesome from any particular Guest on the board to a query posted, to not give up in disgust if an answer doesn't happen right away or even on the same day. 
The bonus of this being completely on-line and on-going for the duration of a week is that this thread isn't going anywhere for now. So rather than a Guest having only the hour or two that normal Cons set up for their panels and that's it - game over if you missed it- , this one is continuous with nothing stopping a particular Guest from returning to answer and poke about the boards at random times as their own schedule permits other than their actual schedule. Any Q&A that's been floated means that person has officially logged on and activated their account in some way, shape or form and that means they have the means to get back. So post away! Well, the only time i do voices on the show is when it's me, Doug Goldstein, on the screen, so I wouldn't call myself a voice actor. I am always horrified to be reminded that I'm a nasally jew though, so I avoid listening to it. As a writer it is sometimes hard to watch something you wrote because if it didn't come out exactly like you'd envisioned it in your head it's crazy stressful. I think it's similar to how a lot of actors refuse to watch their own shows.
And we write about stuff we know and love -- i think the show represents the inner workings of all our minds, so if you've never seen a sketch about something, it's just because maybe we're not thinking about that show all the time. But then you might see a sketch making fun of a cable access show that ran 30 years ago in the NYC area because many of us are from NY and remember it from our childhood. There is no rhyme or reason, if we think a sketch is funny, it goes in.
In my honest opinion, I have never really notice you sounding nasally, you sound normal to me. I kinda get the idea how it may be if you have constantly rehearse your voice over and over, just to sound right. I know I have to clear my throat a few times because I rarely talk. I'm a tall guy, 6'9" 237lbs -- Built like a barbarian, LOL but I could sound different from time to time. I would love to be a voice actor if given the opportunity -- I really need to get myself on youtube to be sorta noticed, haha.
I can also understand about the work a little. I mean, I wasn't trying to be insulting or anything, I was just wondering if you guys had any trouble obtaining any rights to make parodies of any anime shows or videogames, because I've seen you guys make parodies of Inuyasha, Sailor Moon and Final Fantasy 7. I mean, are you guys going to make like some Duke Nukem parodies and others to come? I'm curious to know.

They're not for sale sadly, but go ahead and make your own! It would be VERY creepy, but the world needs a little more creepy in it. You should google for action figure sculpting services, there's lots of people out there for hire that will do custom work for people.

I think anything we wanted to grab from the old Sweet J Presents videos was done long ago in season 1. Why, is there anything specific you were looking for?
You're gonna have to track down Matt or Seth to ask about the Stoopid Monkey logo -- that's their company and they does what they wants.
And there's always hope! Hell, there's so many people we want to have come in and do voices you never know what is going to happen. One time we were even THIS CLOSE to getting Harrison Ford! (And by THIS CLOSE I mean very, very far apart.)
