I had a read-more-than-me contest in IB and the winner in the end was the one that kept plugging along despite the leads of some other contestants so if anyone is out there thinking they shouldn't bother at this point, try entering anyway.
And further update - posts for the thread have been reduced from 1,500 to 1,000 in case people think the original goal was too high [although I still believe in your abilities to reach 1,500 ]. The time limit for posts still remains in effect though since that's the one thing that keeps this thread from being considered pure +1 spam.
