people, i caught this in one of the episode commentaries (i think) on the RC season 4 dvd. anyway its in the space somewhere.
someone said how the fans (US) don't seem to really appreciate just how much work goes into a season of RC. after all, theres only 20
eps. each ep. is only 11 - 12 min. long. but as this person said, just doing _that_ takes many people 11months of work to make.
this is stop-motion animation. it was the only way to animate _anything_ (other than cartoons) before computers. I at least appreciate all of the hard work the RC staff does. period.
I see you all as some of the inheritors of the greats like Willis O'Brien (King Kong '31), and Ray Harryhausen (Clash of the Titans, etc.)
Thank You.

I can be counted among those that know and appreciate the amount of work that is done at ShadowMachine.
It's long, tedious fiddling with characters that sometimes outright refuse to take any direction. ![]()
But seriously, yeah, stop-motion, even with computer clean-up, takes massive amounts of patience and the ability to foresee and work away towards a distant goal of seeing something like a solitary, immobile Lobot figure get his groove going seamlessly to music. Or a Lazzo, for that matter.
Kudos. ![]()
