I hope they air this in Super Milkchan's time slot. That show is horrible and Robot Chicken looks very promising. Twisted Mego theatre was hilarious.

Most definitely... Super Milkchan was unfunnier then a funeral. Robot Chicken looks super classic and promising.

Looks like we have a classic on the way!  The first thing I thought was "Are they turning twisted mego theatre into a show" but when I saw the preview in it's entirety I was spellbound!  I cannot wait to see **bleep** take on the Jew 88 and Santa Claus Kill Bill style! I hope they put at least some mention of Twisted Mego Theatre in there.  why do two weeks seem like an eternity!

Robot chicken use to be a show called Sweet Jay on Sony’s screen blast site, looks like there even reusing some of those episodes, the scene with ship wreck being pulled into a door in an alley is from the "where are they now" episode with an action figure of Michael Moore hosting........ There going to have to clean it up some from what was on the old site but it was always very funny

This looks pretty interesting. And I saw action figures from back in the day being used. Definately a show I'll try. Can't wait! :smileyhappy:

Unlike Tom Goes to the Mayor, this show has potential to be hilarious. If handled properly.

It is a "stop motion" animation.  Stop motion is;
  • Set up action figure (doll) in a pose
  • snap 2 frames of film
  • move figure slightly
  • snap 2 frames of film
  • move figure slightly
  • snap 2 frames of film .. you get the idea.
  • It takes a very long time, and if they bump the table they have to start all over.

according to the schedule no, but it would have been cool if they could have worked it that way.

With the last episode of SMC airing and American Dad on Fox, They probably didn't want to step on any toes.  As it was Imissed some of American Dad because I was flipping between The Venture Brothers and American Dad. (here on the East coast, they overlapped.

I'm looking foward to the new show. Only from what I have seen in the promo, it looks to be all right. I need to wait to see the skits and hear the voices to really give it a shot though. The good news is Les Claypool himself did the theme music so, if he is putting his stamp on this show, it'll probably be pretty funny.

The show looks awsome.  Then again, any crappy show can seem cool when short clips are shown to music.  I have high hopes for it though.

This show looks promising. It's not the most original idea (Action League Now), but what I'm really looking forward to is the fact that there aren't a set of regular characters. It's all sketch-based. The problems with a lot of stop motion stuff is that it gets old pretty fast. It's funny to see things in stop motion, but after a while, there's not much new, unless the writers are really good. With Robot Chicken, it's all just random sketches. It'll be new every time! With real sketch comedy (like Mr. Show or Kids in the Hall), they had the SAME actors in every sketch, but they weren't playing the same characters. Recurring roles are good, too, because it doesn't require them to be in the show all the time, but it allows for good character development and ongoing jokes.

    I CAN'T WAIT!

Also, I think it'll rock. I'm not a big stop-motion fan, but Seth Green is really funny.

Yeah, I checked out some of that type stuff on the interweb, stuff like Spiderman and Thor getting the Borg as new jerk neighbors( neighBORGS?) Funny as hell. If it's any glimpse at what Robot Chicken is like, let's get this bird served up to us folks hungry for new comedy.

BTW, not to bring the**bleep**Mark Hamill thing up again, but I believe he was also Larry 3000 on Time Squad, one of the most underrated kids cartoons.

Yes, other Time Squad fans! I love that show; it actually made learning history a whole hella cooler, and the different time mistakes were priceless. They need to bring that show back, PRONTO!

As for Robot Chicken, I have infinite faith in Adult Swim to deliver the best in stop-motion animation. I can't wait for that J.esus vs. Santa Kill Bill thing. IT'S GONNA ROCK MY FACE!
