I am going to give it a chance...but I don't have high hopes.  That is my opinion and I'm entitled to it.  I hope it proves me wrong...but like with Tom Goes, I thought maybe that could be good.  I watched the first 5 episodes and never looke back again.  I believe that Tim and Eric belong flipping burgers, not making shows.  I'm hoping Saul will be different. (though anyone that thinks the Tim & Eric Awesome show will be any better than Tom Goes are very diluted)

I knew that Craig Lewis was writer/creator for this show (he's done tons of CN work for the Cartoon Cartoon original type shows like PPG, Grim & Evil, JBvo, Foster's etc) but I didn't even know that the series is being directed by Tom Stern until just now.

Or else I forgot until just now.

But anyhow - Tom Stern is hilarious.  I've been kind of fan of his since the 90s when I first saw the shorts he did with Alex Winter.  They went on to do the feature film "Freaked" which is really neat.  Stern has also worked on Trey Parker and Matt Stone's series "That's My Bush" which I also liked a lot before they pulled the plug on it.

Add to that that this is essentially a parody/homage to those live action Krofft type shows like Land of the Lost and Pufnustuff and whatnot (that I'm a huge fan of) and wow that's pretty cool.

So - nice pedigree there for this show.  I feel even better about it now.

Holy shut. Freaked! is awesome, That's my Bush was hilarious ( i have the DVD!), and i didn't know Craig Lewis was involved, i love the Cartoon Cartoons.

This is gonna be so great.

Moral Orel and Pushing Daisies are both cancelled.
I love King of the Hill, but i don't know if it fits [as]. Better than Family Guy again, though.
Atleast i can look forward to anothr season of Xavier and Squidbillies.

[as] should be all anime? You miss the way it use to be? Ok...seriously dude...how long have you been watching [as]? I started watching in August or September of 2000 when it started. It was only on Wednesdays and Sundays 11pm-2am. Not only that, but it was aaaaall comedy. No anime at all. And when it expanded the first time (I think it was the addition of Mondays and Tuesdays) still no anime. It was us hardcore viewers that made it big enough for the other 75% of the people to take notice. So remember that without the comedy on [as] there would be no Saturday block for the anime fans. Besides that...if there were more anime fans than comedy, then we'd be stuck with saturday and the weekday after 1am spot. But Sundays have always beaten out Saturdays with never an exception. None of this is meant to offend. Just realize when you dis the comedy shows, your dissing the origional basis of [as]. I mean really...who else in here remembers the old people swimming the the pool bumps (no running...NO RUNNING BY THE POOL)

September 2001 was when it started.

And it was on Thursday night and Sunday night. And there WAS anime, Cowboy Bebop was the last show of the night, i believe. I still remember watching Bebop the first night [adult swim]  ever aired. I came for Home Movies (which i had watched on UPN) and Space Ghost/Brak, but Aqua Teen, Birdman, Sealab and COwboy Bebop were like icing on the cake.

And the first expansion of [adult swim] was when they added Saturday Action.

Maybe we should just refer him to the Wiki article or something. I swear, my memory is better than that, and i kill large numbers of brain cells on a daily basis.

Close, I think it's Saul Malone but I made that connection too, since he's "all alone" with the mole men.

In a grand scheme of things I think live action will work on [as] if they keep it up with the Willam Streets animation. Like nothing cookie cutter or things that just wouldn't fit Arressted Development for example.

These two new shows have the [as] charm of being far away from the norm, just not a cartoon. Who cares, Cartoon Network has been showing Live Action stuff for a long time, before [AS].

Banana Splits for an example.
