the show should just stop after season 1. this isn't hate, this is a fan thinking logically to save the show. obviously it's going to end with Saul getting out of the center of the earth and back to Strata Headquarters where he belongs and return to geology. but the show is called SAUL OF THE MOLE MEN! no more mole men means no more show. if you're going for cliche'd ending, i suggest stop after the first season and release DVDs like crazy. BUT, if the mole men end up entering the taboo area and the show continues on earth with a mole man infestation where a new species tries to fit in, that'd be a great second season. but if project thunderhole fails and Strata leaves, end the show. ill definitely buy that crap on DVD. in fact, we all will. until then ill wait till the end of Season 1 and see what happens, but whatever's in mind for the end, think about what i said. everything i said. just now.

I'm fairly sure it was never designed to last longer then one season.  I'd be pleasantly surprised if it was, but I get the feeling it's going to end for good at episode 20.

Same here. For all the hate spewed around about it, it was a good show, and fun while it lasted. Viva Saul! Viva STRATA! Viva Brad!

I think season 2 was announced at the AS upfront.  While I watch the show on a regular basis, I'm beginning to wonder if the show could last another season.  It seems like rather than trying to branch out the plot, they just want have a bunch of in-jokes about the low budget look of the show.

Really?  I missed that.

Hmm, I dunno how that would work, unless Saul somehow goes forward in time through a freak STRATA accident to a strange future world (ala Time Machine/Planet of the Apes), but even then it might be kinda weak because of the way the show's been structured this season.

I only watch the first 5 minutes of the 1st episode and I asked my self ....why am I watching this? This show is awful.

Another terrible show Adult Swim has put in the lineup. I've actually stopped watching Adult Swim for the time being, because of the terrible programming they have added to it lately. Such a shame.
