[ Edited ]
How do you guys think about Bertram's Almanac?

Is the guy in the suit doing that to raise money for production of SOTMM Season 2?

At least he found work till it starts. :smileyvery-happy:

There was a mission underground, so they sent some explorers down.

The bump they recently played with their release schedule said that around September of next year Thomas Jefferson American Phantasam will be aired (Look for Fat Guy Stuck in Internet in May!) Since the picture clearly shows Tom Stern (who directed and stars as Bertram, Utnick, Thomas Jefferson, Nathanial Baltimore, and others I'm sure) dressed as his crazy as hell Thomas Jefferson from the episode they've showed already, they may be changing the direction of the show. These guys look like they had a lot of fun on the show, but if they're not starting untill September, my guess is that they have nothing written yet.

I happen to love a few of Bertram's almanacs, but my two favorite bits are his sexy phone calls and correspondence.

What I really want to know is the significance of the word "Pinto" (Otnip backwards) that many of the characters (the king, Ben Franklin, and the Beet God to name a few) all uttered as they died. I would also like to know the significance of Saul's connection  to Luas (Saul backwards, yes, we all know). As  far as the whole Thomas Jefferson thing ... I'm not sure if everybody remembers but the bump before the finale of season one was a quote from Thomas Jefferson.

What could it all mean... Hmm...

Pinto is very, very, very, very, very significant.

Actually the guy who plays Jefferson, Bertrum, Otnip, Nathaniel, etc is named Hugh Davidson, he's one of the writers for Saul.

The only times Tom Stern (the director) appeared as a character of SOTMM was as the "Beet God" in a few episodes

FIXED.

Or is he doing it to generate more fan interest in SAUL?

It's original content for the site. That's a plus.

Thomas Jefferson...I like it. It would be a good new direction.

George W made a thread about bertram a while ago and yes Bertram is Thomas Jefferson and pretty much all the other good characters. That guy rules.

You bet... I've noticed them using that word over and over.

For instance:

When the STRATA Operators are on that boat going to Indochina - the name of the boat - you guessed it - Pinto!

In the episode "Faster Robot, Upload! Upload!" when STRATA Operator 2 is "hacking into Robot's mainfraime" he begins typing very fast and all the words on the screen come up as (yup) Pinto!

I don't know what these references mean - nor do I want to. Not yet anyway. That in mind I really can't wait for season two. Maybe they'll let us in on some of the mystery surrounding the enigma that is Pinto. One can only hope I guess.

I always did find it odd that yellow7 liked saul yet all other shows were gay in his eyes. I would find it even odder that he might be dumb enough to put 7 at the end of a new name. Maybe he just likes the attention and wants us to yell at him.
