I would like to see an hour of Sunday's line up dedicated to the action portion of Adult Swim. Since the even split is lost by having that hour of comedy on Saturday. That's not a "bad" thing per say now that Venture Bros. replaced Sea Lab but it's still not great.

In favor of not loosing Home Movies, it could be moved to 12:30. I don't see why Venture Bros. needs to be on both Saturday and Sunday when it's the same episode.

How about this for the Sunday line-up?

11:00 - Family Guy
11:30 - Harvey Birdman / Sea Lab 2021
12:00 - Aqua Teen / Space Ghost
12:30 - Home Movies
01:00 - Witch Hunter Robin
01:30 - The Big O

Later throw on Lupin (when it's not on weekdays), FLCL, and other shows.

Even Cowboy Bebop and Trigun (just like on Saturday) would suffice since at least then it would take half as long to finish watching those series. 13 weeks is a lot more preferable than 26 when the series has been shown many times before.
HELPeR for the TOONAMI, Mobile Suit Gundam, Dragon Ball Z, Harvey Birdman and Perfect Hair Forever boards. Feel free to ask me anything on those topics.

The next weekday schedule for action should include the following---

1st season of Wolf's Rain or Witch Hunter Robin (depending on what the viewers want), with the 1st season of Blue Gender and Reign: The Conqueror. This will take up 3 weeks (Mon-Thur) & 1 day to show all, leaving 2 days for a FLCL marathon, and 1 day for a movie.

We need to see something new, so the classics don’t burn out.

A good 4 week resting period will allow a great come-back for Case Closed and InuYasha.

:smileyvery-happy:i love your inuyasha idea of it being earlier, i  have to go bed early, and inuyasha doesnt come on untill later, and i dont get to see it. i have the dvd's, but they dont work on my computer! so the only time i get to see my favorite show is when it's saturday, and  i have to go to tennis the next morning, early. but since it's the summer i always get to see my favorite show. so if you could get inuyasha to be the first show on adult swim, id be so happy, id go right up to you in real life, and give u a big kiss! well, i appreciate it, and if you could get inuysaha to be the first show on adult swim. then i might be able to go through this school year alive, im in everything honors classes, varsity tennis, piano, karate, cheerleading, and alot of other things, and the only time i get to get away from it all, is when i see this show. It helps relax, and let myself forget everything. i know i might sound a little odd, but alot of people in the world are..lol...but not many people know me to like adult swim shows ( mostly inuyasha), that i like any kind of manga or anime, and that i draw it really well. Ive already drawn most of the the characters in the inuyasha show, and they're pretty good .( or so told by my sister, who is a very quiet person.)  i like the show alot. it's just my life is planned out for me, and my family is so controlling, that i cant be a normal teen. this really helps!thankz:smileyvery-happy:

could i request one more thing, my friend kiri- she likes the show conan detective person, and if you could make that earlier, we'd both really appreciate it!

I think the only change should be on saterday.  I think since it's pretty much anime night i was wondering if you can change futurama to a gundam series like 0080 since gundam hasint been on adult swim in god knows how long.  other then that the line up's solid.

Dear AS,

I have to ask this will jimmy turn back into a teen agin for good becuse I am starting to think that the show is going down hill big time. As for Lupin the 3 figco is a big tease. I think that even though it is old show I would like to see her on a real date with Lipin for once. As for inyasha I would like to see merco die he is starting to tick me off.
go huntng.

THANK YOU AS FOR GIVING ME WOLFS RAIN, COWBOY BEBOP, FLCL, INUYASHA, LUPIN, GUNDAM SERIES, AND OTHER COOL ANIME. YOU ARE AWESOME.

I did not start this tread for 1 thing and 2 I am not part of the programming line up. as for WHR I can agree with you on that. however now that I have the WHR DVDS I can care less when they put it back on. Now that I have seen Cowboy BeBop about 4 times stragiht. I would like for the progamers to change the line up. just a little bit.
go huntng.

Here's an awesome idea. Instead of showing 6 shows a night, then repeating, show 12 episodes a night.

and it goes a little sonmething like this, in Central time*in which I live*

10-Family Guy(I've gotta have family guy)
10.5-Case CLosed
11-Inuyasha
11.5-Rurouni Kenshin
12-Ghost in the Shell
12.5-Cowboy Bebop
1-Trigun
1.5-FLCL
2-Full Metal Alchemist
2.5-Witch Hunter Robin
3-Big O
3.5-Sealab

On Saturdays.

An anime sandwich with comedy bread. Just like Mom used to make!

A good AS Schedule would be

11:00 Family Guy
11:30 Sealab or some other 15 minute comedy
11:45 ATHF
12:00 Inuyasha
12:30 Lupin III (New Episodes)
1:00 Case Closed
1:30 umm...put something good here :smileyvery-happy:

I love Futurama but it needs a little break! We can have alternating runs of Futurama and Family Guy!

Re: Action Programming Schedule Suggestions

yeah this is what i had for a thread but it got deleted, but i can see why but I still want to let it be know... but i think the line up should be like this everyday till AS can get better crap for us to watch...

This is to merly state what anime you would like to see back on the mon-thur line up....

I've been watching adultswim; an have been asking and getting veiw points on anime that AdultSwim hasn't shown in a while i and i would like to ask the fans of AS to give me their, veiw point, critisizm,or just what you think is right about the anime that AS hasn't been showing in a while....

And i would like to discuss the issue about AS we-eding out anime all together and replacing with (not all) comedy shows that really su-ck or that I only wish to watch on sundays...

Further more I think i'm obligated to figure out the cause of this fustration and to better more find a solution to this delima on anime....

For better to understand of this thread I will post my oppion on what anime should come back and how the line up would better this way...

10/11pm...
1. Family Guy & Futurama one should air just every-other-day...
10:30/11:30pm...
2. Aqua_Teen_Hunger_Force & Sea Lab one should air every-other-day...
11/12am...
3. kikaider should air at this time because it was a good anime that had a moral and  I would like to be awake when the show is on...
11:30/12:30am...
4. Fooly Cooly should air next cause it was a good anime short but good...
12/1am...
5. Reign should air next although it was a weird anime (and things were altered in it) I still personaly ejoyed watching it when ever it came on... Only thing was the artistry & color was a little echy but I let that slide...
12:30/1:30am...
6. Case Closed & Lupin the 3rd should air at this time sinse you save the best for last, and so to have old school anime finish the AS broadcasting. one should just air every-other-day...

well if the line were infact work like this i think AS's ratings would go way up instead of just going up on saturdays but thats just me...

Once again they've screwed up the schedule with respect to Inu Yasha fans.
If you look at the weekly's they are going back to ep 27 after showing part 1 of
"fateful night". Now that's just plain wrong!

If you must go back to ep 27 then at least show part 2 as well.

At this stage, I would have to say my fantasy ACTION lineup might look something like this:

11:00pm     InuYasha
11:30pm     Big O or Trigun
12:00am     Cowboy Bebop
12:30am     Reign: The Conquerer
1:00am       Blue Gender
1:30am       Witch Hunter Robin or Wolf's Rain

That way you start with something fun and exciting to pull the audience in, have a peak in the center with great action and artistry and then have a sort of cool down at the end of the block.  WHR and WR are both underrated shows that are a lot of fun to watch, they just take some investment for the viewers.
