They really should stop getting horridly long shows like Blood+/Bleach/Inuyasha. As good as I've heard D.Grayman to be, i hear its also rediculously long so I wouldnt care too much for that.

The best animes are the shorter running ones, like anywhere between 10 and 30 episodes total.

YES adult swim needs more anime i got like three more names of some shows one is i think old but it is good its called darkstalkers the other two are are eiken and beck mongolian chop squad the reason i picked beck is because they have my favorite band in there the beat crusaders they are awsome they did the 4 opening to bleach so put these shows on the air PLEASE.

Yea agree. I wouldn't mind seeing Fate Stay Night or Shakugan no Shana. Black Lagoon would be sweet too, but I doubt that would happen.

Well, Robot Chicken is not necessarily bad, but it is sad when a sixteen-year-old can't tell you who Beevis and Butthead are. I totally agree that those shows need to come back.... I also think they should run something like Fruits Basket, which is not only short, but it recaps and repeats itself a lot and is fairly easy to pick up on after missing an episode. Another suggestion would be Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann, but only redubbed or in Japanese ... because Sci-Fi totally killed it.

But they also suffered a lot of editing on Toonami. It would be nice to see them run these shows as they were meant to be seen.

You know what i would like to see on [as] (but is WAY to short.

Hellsing. That would be a HAW-SOME show to have on [as], although the writters need to get off there lazy ** Jinkies ** and add a few moar episodes imo, if its going to be a tv series,  unless [as] is just going to play all the episodes once or something.

blood+ was to slow imo, i only had the attention span to watch the first episode, and i basicly quite watching it. Something about a chick with a sword is all i remember.

Hellsing was indeed a very good anime. But there are far better to choose from for the immediate future. And often times the shorter shows are the better ones, rather than ones that needlessly drag out 5 minute scenes over 5 episodes. For example, I remember back in the day watching Dragonball Z on Toonami, and there was a scene where the planet was going to explode "in exactly 3 minutes" (or was it 5 minutes?), and it took seven 25 minute long episodes for those 5 minutes in time to elapse. Good anime should never do that.

There are definitely a few I'd like to see. I'd love to see Outlaw Star back, I remember liking the Escaflowne Series when I was younger...though I did try to rewatch it and their noses just bugged the hell out of me so I can't give it a heavy recomendation.

I highly recommend Soul Eater, dunno if it's been dubbed yet, but the series is funny and has some great action.  Didn't Adult Swim once run Detective Conan? I remember liking the show quite a bit, and getting Lupin back would be great as well. I'd like to see one of the Gundam series again, G-gundam would be fun to see again as would 0083. Though I hear Seed is pretty popular.

From what I hear Soul Eater was recently licensed by Funimation. Who do you guys usually get your anime from? Definitely something to look into, don't know if they're dubbing it or what.

So do most people. But they've got to cater to a dumber crowd who refuse to even give something with subtitles a chance because they can't read fast enough.

Maybe we'll get lucky and they'll get good voice actors? Not like the **bleep!** rape of TTGL. I'd want voice actors that fit the characters like with FLCL/Bebop/Lupin etc

The Area 88 TV Series 2005 is only 12 episodes long. Serial Expirement Lain is about 13 episodes I believe. How about last exile, betterman, robotech, cromartie high, anything you can pick up from anime unleashed. Just FOR THE LOVE OF GOD no Gate 21 or Silent Mobius!

so far, i don't think some of the suggestions on here would be 'adequate' for [AS].

some of the shows suggested are not [AS] material in many ways.

then there are obviously some that shouldn't be shown anyway.

i would love to have Ergo Proxy be on here. Fuse did drop it, and the anime wasn't really widely watched, so it could be like a fresh show to start. and it does have the characteristics of most [AS] shows

i have been a supporter of Suzumiya Haruhi No Yutsuu to be on [AS]. though at times, i think it would fit in, but then at times, it might not be broad enough. it would appeal to all anime fans who would get the stereotypes and blunt refrences, but that would probably be the only viewer target to hit. sure it has a cult following (Haruhiism) and the danse has been viral, but it could backfire and soon have William's Street bombarded with a million school-uniformed rabid fans trying to burn them down (that be the semi-WCS).

Ouran i have been getting into, but it would not fit in with [AS] either. also, i think it would scare a lot of people that aren't comftorble with the yaoi elements, and all the mushy romantic stuff-i already turned my head away from the freaking gushy stuff that just made me scream on the inside-but it isn't a bad show imo. just not something that could be 'pleasently' shown on [AS]

Monster could be a contender, though i fear it could get boring after awhile. but it could just be as much of a hit in the sense Death Note did.

here is one last show i would like to recommend "X'Amd." it is like Eureka7, but would probably be less annoying to most **cough**no**cough**renton**cough**

Dragon ball Z I would say yes to.....but...........No Naruto, its still airing on toonami, and its way too stinkin long 200+ episodes or something.  [as] has bleach running and thats almost as long as Naruto.
