honestly they should go back and try to get some of the older shows they used to have, when they had anime as a big part of the network, this would be the best way to reach out to the males 18-24, if they saw the show in the past and liked it they may want to see it again

personally i would love to see Wolf's Rain back on, that was like a deep show

the best way to get males 18-34 (which i am one of) is to put ** fricka-fracka ** on that caters to my inner

pothead with shows like assy mcgee and squidbillies t&e fat guy and all the other stuff that

 Shojo Kakumei Utena. Even if Akio Arc gets edited, there isn't enough before then to cut any of it, unless Juri being a lesbian isn't cool for the heads. It's getting a remaster!

 Not an Anime, per se, but getting permission from Disney to show Gargoyles and talking to Greg to produce an animated version of his comic book continuation would gather thousands, who still go to The Gathering!

I understand that [as] focuses on action oriented anime, but I think they should include all popular genres.

I think the following shows would do well:

The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya

Genshiken

Ergo Proxy

Darker Than Black

and Baccano! when it's dubbed

I've only watched fansubs of these titles however, so I have no idea how decent the dubs are. :/

Adult Swim are the only option left so, really, IMO, they really don't have a choice but to air more anime because no one else will air it because every other network have turned into ANIME HATERS IMO.

It's not Adult Swim's burden to pick up the slack for every network other than The FUNimation Channel.

They have the choice not to air more anime. Keep bugging them and they might just choose not to air anime at all.

What exactly do you want me to do about it? Please don't say buy anime because I don't have the money and I'm going to focus on college only and worry about a job later.

Buying anime isn't going to help [adult swim] with their current anime line-up, it'll help the licensors here who need help, but it won't help [as]. All you can do is try to get more people to watch the anime because bad ratings for anime causes them to lose money more than when their own shows get bad ratings.
