If you made the right choice by yourself you wouldn't have someone forcing you to stop stealing.

I don't like the methods or how far reaching the bill is but I'm all for finding ways to keep people from pirating copyrighted materials. Unfortunately SOPA probably wont succeed becauase pirates always find away around these things but if it scares some pirates straight then at least it helped cut down on piracy a little bit.

Let me make it clear I don't support SOPA and I hope it doesn't pass because it's a poorly concieved bill but we'll still have more freedoms than many countries even if it passes and it will not be the death of free speech on the internet because in modern America freedom of speech will always prevail.

So I'll begin my rant now, and hopefull some minds will be blow with how right I am.

To begin, Bleach is repetative and has childish humor.  No go fighting scenes since after they saved Rukia from the tower in the begining of the series.  Now the series has just gone to far and is boring to watch.  Why it's still on Adult Swim, I don't know.

SPOILERS MAYBE INCLUDED...

Moving on to One Piece.  I've been following it, and I am up to date with how the series is progressing.  With the series half over after the Marineford Arc and the Luffy being unable to save Ace, the series has by far proven that it's in no way like Bleach with humor that fits, and not childish, and with great action scenes that expand on each characters growth with each Arc.  Plus the creater of One Piece helped with DBZ and I know a lot of people loved that anime.  They're is no downside to having One Peice on Adult Swim but we can all blame 4Kids for how One Piece first came to be in America.  They did a crappy job dubbing the show and because of that the rep is bad.  FUNImation fix and save the series but becuase people don't want to take the time to watch the new stuff dubbed by FUNImation people don't gain that experice.

Take a second look at the anime and I'm sure it will crush Bleach once they begin airing it.  They could probably even begin at the begining of the New World Saga that just began airing in Japan recently.  They're only like 20 epsiodes into it but it's doing great.

Thanks for Reading and I hope this help changes some views on the show and maybe even get it on Adult Swim.

I disagree with you about Bleach but it's your opinion and your allowed to have it.

However, I do agree that Adult Swim should at least give One Piece a chance.

One piece has just been too streched out, its been tried (even thought it was a 4kids dub) i wont deny it prob will bring in an audience but as to beat bleach in ratings i dont think so, esp with the time block that anime has currently running (what 12-6? on saturdays only) if u want anime to pull more people we need either a better block time or more days with anime airing. with that being said i understand that even earlier blocks dont do as well as the 12-1 block time but with the diversity of people still awake from 10-12 i think it would have a better chance to get better ratings. now as to an anime that could beat bleach? Inu FA is prob the top runner, but i would even suggest deadman wonderland (only if it gets a second season) or there is a new show called Mirrai Nikki which if after its done airing in japan could compete.

That doesn't mean that it isn't worth a chance of airing on Adult Swim. But again, that's just IMO.

i didnt say dont give it a chance i just dont think it would pull in the ratings some ppl would like, now with that being said if for some miracle we get back all saturday for anime then putting one piece in an early time slot would prob be the best place for it, so that a wider variety of audience could see it instead of a 1230 or 1am showing which just wouldnt bring in the fan base as it would if it was on in an earlier slot...

Dragonball - The original could be shown and AS for the minimum censorship with the exception being a small bluring out of nipples. It would seem a perfect fit for AS.

I'd like to suggest Tokyo Majin. Alot of people I know have never heard of it. It is very underrated. The premise of it is very similar to the beginning of Bleach, only with the macabre elements of Yu Yu Hakusho (lots of gore and fun stuff). I happened to finish it a couple months back and it is excellent. Albeit I was watching the subbed version and have little clue of what the dubbed is like.

never thought i'd say this, but DemandingAnime has a point, we truly WON'T know unless they give it a chance, which is why i suggested on a earlier date that they should do a trial run to see how it does.

that being said, i have NO IDEA how much even that would cost, so i really don't have anything to back up my talk.

Nothing's free so if there was no currancy then we'd be back to bartering goods and services to buy the things we want and/or need.

Money is just a simpler way to buy and sell goods and services but everything's going digital these days so paper money may not exist for that much longer.

Hmm... I see... the root of all evil...

I guess that makes sense...

So... money is the root of the cause of the new dictatorship?

Yeah... I don't know what I didn't realize that sooner.

Thanks for the information. I shall use it in my investigation of dictatorship wisely.

nding-on-march-27

Bleach's days on [as] are now numbered, along with possibly ASA. The anime is ending March 27, 2012 in Japan. We're about 115 episodes behind Japan, so at the rate [as] is airing it, it'll finish in 2014/2015. They need to find something to replace Bleach fast as Bleach is one of the main things holding ASA together. Though with these shows coming out of Japan that wouldn't work, it's going to be hella tough to find something that will actually perform.

After Bleach finishes, they'll probably hold onto it for a while, and then let it go. Once they do, they can get a ton more anime, or possibly One Piece.

Like I've noted, without Bleach, Adult Swim Action dies a quick, violent death. It's even more obvious now since Adult Swim Action's programmer wouldn't know a decent series if it slapped her with a wet fish. I mean, Angel Beats? You might as well prep the Tim and Eric marathon now.
This Saturday night, it's a heavyweight collision! The action starts 8pm on FX and 10pm on PPV! I mean, what the hell else would you watch?

Nowhere since it won't happen.

In an ideal world where Yellow Tanabe is strung up in a town square, the action programmer isn't a mentally deficient feminazi, and casual audiences were welcomed rather than shunned, maybe. But we live in reality, and reality is grim.
